With humility. Will Paul's "splinter in the flesh" be manifested towards "all" of God's called and chosen?
Will the elect also bear on their bodies, as with Paul on his body, the "marks of Jesus?" As he declared in his letter to the churches of Galatia.

Dear Harry:
We all have or OWN splinter in the flesh. We are clearly told that, "Yes, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution" (II Tim. 3:12; Gal. 5:11).
It doesn't have to be "sticks and stones," necessarily, but persecution nonetheless.
