Title: Big Questions
Post by: Craig on March 01, 2007, 08:56:15 PM
This question encompasses right and wrong, moral value, heaven and hell, suicide, everything......

If God is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent, then what is the difference between His will and anything elses? What is the difference between His action and mine? Is allowing something to happen an action? How is He wrong for allowing something to happen, and how are we wrong for doing it? What's the difference?

This question is not intended to tarnish God or disprove Him, but rather to get a better understanding of Him. This question seperates the difference between belief and doubt, and belief and unbelief.

    Dear Joshua:
The difference is giant. Men use evil for bad and God uses evil for good. Men sin, while God never sins.
God does not "allow" things to happen, rather He created this world so that things would have to happen.
Men kill, but only God can both kill and then MAKE ALIVE. Evil and darkness and death are all necessary
in man's spiritual creation.  "It is an experience of evil Elohim [God] has given to the sons of humanity to humble them by it" (Ecc. 1:13, Concordant Literal Old Testament).  The King James of Ecc. 1:13 reads: "This sore travail has God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith."  It could have been just as easily understood had they left it untranslated in the original Hebrew.  No wonder Christendom has not a clue as to what the purpose is for God creating the human race.  Men's motives are selfish. God's motives will ultimately make humanity happier than anyone has ever begun to imagine. Etc.
    God be with you,
