This explains why it is so cold here this week. I'm freezing my tail off in this 66 degree weather. 10 degrees less than last week. 10 degrees! I almost had to wear a jacket this morning. Damn you polar vortex!

There is nothing new under the sun. Climate change, global warming, polar vortex - Bah humbug. Every thing in its season. All is of God. Appreciate!

Rhys

I love thunderstorms.  When I was 16 I was camping by a lake in Canada and a thunderstorm moved across the lake. Probably about 100 yards out.  I sat on the bank dry as a bone and watched it move across the water.  That was a great experience that I'll never forget.  For those who can appreciate it, I rode a Suzuki TS 125 from Connecticut to Canada (and back) for a weeks vacation.

Not quite as romantic, but I remember once as a kid seeing it rain like crazy in the back yard, and be dry in the front yard.  That's made a lasting impression on me.

Happens all the time in Mobile - Many times I've seen it rain just on one side of the street

I'm jealous of all you Southerners.  >:( It's a lot warmer in the Midwest right now, but we had a lot of freezing rain last night, and the roads are very icy. Spring can't come soon enough!
