Title: Ray's Health
Post by: Dennis Vogel on August 04, 2008, 07:35:05 PM
Ray's health has taken a turn for the worse.

As many of you know he had prostrate cancer several years ago. The cancer back. His PSA is over 100.

I asked Ray if it was okay to make this post and he said he would appreciate everyone prayers.

I am praying for Ray's renewed strength, health, peace and comfort, and for his family's well-being as well....

Dennis--when you say, a turn for the worse, do you mean that he is facing hospitalization for treatment? I started to PM this, but everyone here, I believe, is certainly wanting to know this as well...so I took a chance that you might be able to answer on the forum.

He seems like such a brave soldier in all of this....God bless him!

Unfortunate New's,

My first inclination is to feel like Gena above, Don't work so hard, but we know Ray, putting God's Truth and work ahead of his own interests, We Love what he's done for all of us and don't want him to leave us, we hope and pray he get's better. I was unaware that he had Prostate cancer, it's very distressing to hear this. May God continue to look out for Ray and take care of him.

                                             With Heartfelt Sadness, Samson.

Ray, thank you for your continuing devotion to doing God's will, by which so many of us are blessed to have our eyes's opened.  I pray for you and your family everyday.  May He in His mercy heal you and give you a long, happy life.

I know when it comes to teaching God can even make the stones talk, but I've gotten used to you Ray, and really like your style!  God has certainly blessed us by giving you to us as a teacher.  My very selfish prayer is that He heal you, and give you the strength and stamina you need to continue your work.  May His will be done.

I posted this here too...it was posted under Healthy eating under the scriptures
in responce to Brenda's comment.

Some people may not read it there and I wanted to add to this link so people can read it.

I have avoided commenting on this topic. I have not called Ray to talk to him. I know that this is a very emotional time for him and that he is dealing with many many issues. He needs a lttle time to accclimate to this pronoucement.

Brenda I think your post was excellent, Coming from you is bettter that it came efrom me. I agree now is the time for spiritual discenment and lets put all carnal aside.

I think Ray going to this naturapath is very Good. I have talked to Ray many time in the past and he does not always like to listen to advise. Because he has read some , he thinks he knows "all"  I think God has his attention now.

First his diabetes is way out of control. RAY thinks he is eating good, but he is not. He is trying to eat the foods that are in this food toxic environment. His surgars are all over the place. How can he even think of working against this prostrate cancer in this state of being. He needs to lose weight too, this will help his blood pressure.   He has to learn to eat a lot better.  If God made it , eat it in moderation, if man has tinkered with...avoid when possible.

My only fear that the nathurpath will be too agressive with physical therapy, I am afraid for the bone fractures. He has putty where there should be bone right now. Pain will then enter in the equation.

Here in Nashville we think we found two open studies at vanderbilt both are for metaststatic prostrate cancer. he will get his medications free.

I most heartedly agree that he needs to take the Lupron. I do not understand why Ray thinks he is 'signing his death cetificate' (pray those words be removed from his mouth)  All things are possible for God. Ray can do nothing in hiself...not even change a gray hair.

I give Lupron to health women (for endomriosis not responsive, it is give before surgery to decrease the implants) It is not chemotherapy is the true sence. It work on the brain to shut off FSH and LH. By doing this all hormones stop including the testosterone which is feeding these prsostrate cells. These cell are like unruly teenages , consuming and moving all over the place and taking over.  IT is time to dicipline the lawlessness of these rowdy cells

Lupron's worse side effect is ( like going into menopause) some of the ladies know this...hot flashes night sweats, insomnia and irritability probably for lack of sleep.

MY concern with the naturapth will be that he will probbly use SOY, which is good, but it may exaggerate and cause gyneasta (breast enlargemnt) .  My hope is that a good diet will give him needed oxidants and vitamins, he is probably deplet of many despite taking some oral supplement. The goal is to keep him from becoming cachectic (emaciated) his body has very little nourishment within its being.

God has given this condition to Ray with purpose and for good. God's will must be done at this time. It is all Ray's decision in the end of all discussion as to how he will deal with this...choices.

 (Psa 85:10)
Mercy and Tuth are met together;
Righteousness and Pace have kissed each other.

God the father has given us the Law and Jesus has given us the Mercy, both of these must be in balance in order for any event to give God the Glory.

In the meantime all the prayers from our members will be like a sweet smelling scent because we know God is soverign and pray in this manner.

Beloved

WE have a place for Ray to stay here in the area and he might only have to come once a month after the initial evaulation and first treatment. I am trying to get more information about the two trials
One is comparing a new trug to traditional
The other is comparing another drug used for proratrate with tradtional

I will pray that if Ray agrees to do this that God will place in the apporpriate program.

beloved

I talked to Ray tonight. He is feeling good. We discussed his therapy. I am going to talking to his doctor about his treatment , so far things sound good. Raye has a juicer, I have one I could give him if he didn't have one.

I also asked him about the cost of things. He does have one need at this time,

He is buying special water at 9.00 a bottle. (300 month) He is looking at getting a water purification system so he can cut this expense. It is going to cost 2500.

I will start this off, Denny let me know where to send the check I do not have paypal.  I know things may be tight financially right now but whatever anyone  can give toward this will help him.

My only concern right now is Ray having someone..an oncologist who will be there to manage any complications if they should occur ( ie spinal compression and pain ). I do not think it wise for Ray to see the doctor who failed to follow his PSA. Ray and his wife had a consultation with him about this issue.

I told Ray to write a complaint letter to Medicare and the Alabama board. I told him that I am writing to complain Blue Cross and the radiology department here in Tennessee for the "normal gall bladder" ultrasound. The surgeon said , no way.

Right now many states have a list of "screwups" that they will no longer pay for if the hospital makes an error, if they have a lot of them the insurance company will no longer consider them providers.

Jesus, I hope that your return is immanent and know that Ray rests in God's Will.

beloved.

Can someone post directions for those who need to know how to Bless Ray financially for his Wellness Costs?
And let us know if this is seperate from usual gifts to support BT teachings?

Thank you for the update Beloved.  If the insurance has a list of "Screw-ups" that they will no longer pay the hospital for, does that mean that the Hospital will have to personaly pay out for damages?

My Goodness...Did they read your ultrasound as normal prior to your surgery?

I am so glad someone is addressing the neglect by Ray's DR. I really had to pray hard to let go of the resentments and know that this is all in God's plan. I see such neglect with my clients. If I didn't know to fight for what they need they would not get the proper care in serious situations. I wish more people would complain.

Thank you for the address Dennis.

Thank you all for this thread. I am now drinking the green machine juice and loading up on fruit. I haven't had fruits and vegetable for a long, long time because I just don't like them. I'm forcing it all down now. They are much easier to drink. :)

I wanted to tell everyone that my son asked about Ray the other day. My son is 9 years old. We were riding along in the car and he asked how Ray was doing. He sees me on the site reading and I have shared with him my journey and we talk of life and the meaning of the scriptures. But he just came out of no where and asked about Ray and he had real concern in him about his well being. It was touching.
Another thing is the reach of this work is more than you can know at times. A friend of mine, his wife had to run an errand up town one time. My son rode with her to keep her company while I helped my friend do some loading work. She later told me that my son had told her to be careful about getting involved with the churches around her neighborhood. It made me about laugh and made me proud at the same time. I figured I would just share.

All the best to Ray,

Jeff

I talked to Ray today (Wednesday).  He is in good spirits and is working hard on the conference material.
He is beginning to struggle with this diet he is on.  He has a totally bland diet with no seasonings or salt.  He has a special cereal mix he eats every morning, that he says he can not force it all down any more.  For lunch and dinner he has red beans and rice with broccoli or cauliflower, it's really getting hard for him to get this down any more too.  He has a mid afternoon snack of an apple, prunes or figs and soaked walnuts, this he likes alright.  And he drinks lots of that special water all day.  That's about it or all I know of.  But the monotony of this diet is really getting to him.  He is scheduled to see Dr. Setger tomorrow and hopefully he will work out some degree of a moderate change on what Ray's eating.  Btw Ray has dropped almost 50 lbs. and obviously is getting around better, as you know he had bad knees and ankles.
Just thought everybody would like to have an update and could adjust your prayers accordingly.

Hi Iris,

Thanks for the specifies on that weight lost.

Yes he needs to eat the same things day after day.
This diet along with many herbs vitamin and mineral supplements have been specially determined to meet Ray's deficiencies.  He is trying to bring his body to the proper pH balance (main purpose of that special water), it is moving in the right direction, but very slowly.  Just a few more things that came to mind.

Title: Re: Ray's Health
Post by: Kat on August 29, 2008, 03:15:04 PM

Hi Robin and Mbongiseni,

His improvement is that his pH level is 'slowly' getting better.  When pH is off and our bodies are running more acidic, our cells are getting less oxygen. Cancer thrives under an acid tissue pH/oxygen deficient environment.  It is not easy to reverse acidity once we become too acidic.  So this rigorous diet is an attempt to accelerate the long process of getting his pH balanced.

Ray says the Dr. Setger gave him a shake type drink instead of the cereal, so that is better.  He can add a little garlic salt to his food too, which helps.  Ray says hello to everybody and is very thankful for your prayers.

mercy, peace and love

I had the privilege to meet him for the first time this weekend (this is Dorothy Marie by the way...a "newbie").  I feel so blessed to have spent time with you guys this weekend and looking forward to more fellowship.

How is Ray doing? I just found out about this and I really Pray that GOD heals Ray of this, We need Ray to keep on teaching the truth. I know i might be somewhat selfish but I really admire Ray and his teachings of the truth. I have learned so so much from Ray that I am so grateful to him for taking the time/money whatever to put this on the web for all the people seeking the truth. Thank you Ray!  I was searching the word Hell trying to find out more about this place and that is when this site came up and it found me and I have been here ever since. I quit coming for a short while coz of lazyness but im back now and gonna be printing out as much as i possibly can print so i can study.. I just cant thank Ray enough for showing me the real truth instead of me being scared of hell scared of GOD just plain out scared of dying too.. I tryed to tell few people BUT everyone thinks i have lost a brain cell or 2 from lack of oxygen (im on oxygen ) whatever.. Thank you Ray and My prayer is for God to heal you completely..

Ray -

Thank you for the wonderful expositions proved from the original Scriptures utilising two or three and sometimes more Scriptural Witnesses to confirm each Truth. You have been used by our Almighty Father and God to change my life completely. No more 'I am not sure about this'. You have educated and taught us on how to really search the Truths in the Sciptures which are ultimately all Spiritual. I pray and ask our Father to restore your health so you can continue to feed his True sheep and lambs, who listen to His Voice and are not dumb, deaf, blind nor deceived.

Thank you for your sacrifices to produce these pearls of wisdom for the hungary of God.

You are an obedient and trustworthy Servant of God.

George.
