Title: As a child....
Post by: Deborah-Leigh on April 06, 2012, 06:53:49 AM

A teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs to her class.

She came to the part of the story where first pig was trying to gather the building materials for his home.

She read. 'And so the pig went up to the man with the wheelbarrow full of straw and said: 'Pardon me sir, but may I have some of that straw to build my house?'

The teacher paused then asked the class: 'And what do you think the man said?'

One little boy raised his hand and said very matter-of-factly...

'I think the man would have said - 'Well, %$%^ me!! A talking pig!'

The teacher had to leave the room.........

It is amazing Eggi, how stories come to us from such a wide field~

That quip was sent to my husband from a friend of his in Durban. He shared the laugh with me and so I pasted it to the BTF and now you in Norway have responded and the laughter is felt with joy! :)

Yeah, imagine that this would not have happened only 15-20 years ago. Certainly not at this speed. We are living in interesting times. :)

Hi eggi, Deborah
Well we sort of knew that it had to happen, the electronic age etc.
How else could "every eye" see Lord Jesus when he enters the atmosphere and touches down on the Mount of Olives?
Oh I know that God could do a different type of miracle, but this idea is more stimulating to the youth of the electronic age. He will get their attention, that's for sure!
