Title: Trinity
Post by: Craig on August 19, 2006, 12:58:41 AM
Dear Rob:
All these questions are already answered in my Trinity Paper. People do not like the Scriptural answers, however. I will make some comments to your questions:

    Dear ray,

After some more research I have shortened my questions for you:

1/ is Jesus the same God as the Father?

COMMENT:  "I [Jesus] and My Father are ONE [God]" (John 10:30)

2/ if not, then have you not got two Gods?

COMMENT:  "But to us there is but ONE GOD, THE FATHER..." (I Cor. 8:6).

3/ does Jesus have two natures?

COMMENT:  The Scriptures no nothing concerning "two natures" in man. There is "nature" as the natural way things happen in the physical world, and then there is "the DIVINE nature" of God spoken of only once in II Pet. 1:4.

4/ If Jesus is God, did THAT God die?

COMMENT:  There is no such thing as "THIS God" and "THAT God"  (Mark 12:29, I Cor. 8:6, etc., etc).

5/ was Jesus a man, or did he just look like a man because he was God

COMMENT:  Jesus WAS, and IS YET, a Man (I Tim. 2:5).

    Please answer Y/N.  Thanks -rob

No, Rob, I will not answer "yes or no."  Many questions cannot be answered "yes or no."  And you will never get me to say that, "there are two Gods and one of them died," no matter how many clever ways one tries to phrase the question.  Have YOU, Rob, "stopped beating your wife yet?"  Yes or No?

    God be with you,
    Ray
