Hello family,
wanted to share this paper: "Keeping Sabbath" at http://forums.bible-truths.com/index.php/topic,6310.0.html
So many WOW moments, some of them here to maybe motivate some of us to read it for the 1st time (or re-read it).
- What's the spiritual meaning of the Sabbath
- How can we keep the Sabbath everyday
- Why God is still resting from the physical creation, but He's not resting from His spiritual creation (His image in us)
- What is not religion, aka, physical things the church do (Lord's supper, baptism, tithing, etc). These are just shadows of better things to come, and the shadows are cast by Christ. Christ is the real thing!
Come to Me, all you who labor (doing your works) and are heavy laden, and I will give you REST! There it is.
Those who believe - do enter the Lord's rest. That is profound and glorious!
