Dear Mike: Unless God is calling and dealing with someone in a special way, they are usually offended by God's Word. They truly despise the Word of God without knowing it. What it is is a major proof of the truthfulness of God's Word. It takes a miracle to be as stubborn as most Christians are to God's Word, and that especially includes ministers.
