Title: Prayer Request for my Great-Nephew
Post by: Marlene on June 11, 2009, 09:56:09 PM
My neice had to take her youngest son Mikey to the er. He has pain in his stomach, fever of 104 and a High White Blood Count. They had to do some blood work that will take 24 hours to find out what they are dealing with. He is only two years old. I know, how this waiting can be. I just pray nothing bad happens before they get the blood work and get something helping him. They are giving him antibiotics just in case. But, they do not know what they are dealing with yet.

In His Love,
Marlene

I am not sure what they are doing? No one has called me anymore.

But, thanks for the prayers.

it sounds exactly like appendicitis.  It gives you stomach pains, a high fever and a surge in white blood cells from the infection.  I will put him in my prayers as well.

My son Michael (nickname now Mikey) when little had same symptoms. They were expecting to do surgery. However, Daddy God had other plans and symptoms went away overnight. Mikey and you are in my prayers.

hi marlene,
have you heard any news about mikey? he is so young (just like little grayson). i pray that our dear Abba Father will cause the reason for mikey's pain and fever to manifest so that he can be attended to. i pray Father that you will bring peace to mikey and his family, and i give thanks Father for marlene's faith in the power of prayer. i pray also Father that each and every one of us will come to truly understand that Your will is the absolute best that we can request in prayer, as it is the absolute best for each of our lives. Father, cover little mikey with your mercy and your love.

in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Hi All, thanks for prayers. He is home, but his fever is still lingering around 101. They have not heard from the other blood work yet. It has not been 24 hours yet. He is still hurting some.

I hope that they find out soon. He was hurting a couple of days before his fever was 104. All, they really know is his white blood count is too high. I would figure this should show an infection.  I guess until they get the 24 hour blood work it is just a waiting game.

At, least he does not seem to be hurting as much. But, the fever is staying around 101 now. But, he has not felt good for several days now. I don't know if it was a virus if the white blood count would be high or not. I just, hope they know what they are doing. Just, keep him in your prayers till I hear a good report or something else happens.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hi Marlene, praying for Mikey. Know and understand, God is merciful, and I sincerely believe that He wont give him more than he can bare. Still it hurts, no doubt.

Love, Mercy & Healing for Mikey

Hello,  I talked to my family. He is doing better today with no fever. They are keeping an eye on him. If, it comes back they will take him back. I guess this blood work takes 48 hours. My sister made a mistake when she told me. She is the one who had the stroke so she gets mixed up sometimes.

I  hope the antibiotic took care of things and it does not come back.

Thanks to all of you for praying.

In His Love,
Marlene

I will be praying for you, your sister and Mikey.  I know how worrisome it is waiting for test results while a child is suffering.   :(
