Title: esword LIVE
Post by: EKnight on December 22, 2008, 11:08:17 PM
Just a quick question.  When using esword Live, on the right hand side there is commentary, should I refer to that or is it just christian doctrine?

It depends.. Some of them are good commentary on the words (hebrew/greek) as well as important historical information related to the topic. If they start going into Babylonian 'gobble-le-gook', that's when I usually stop and move on to the next section.

Thought this was funny from:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/gobbledegook

gobbledegook
gob⋅ble⋅de⋅gook
–noun
language characterized by circumlocution and jargon, usually hard to understand: the gobbledegook of government reports.

They could have substituted "the gobbledegook of government reports" with "the gobbledegook of church doctrine"

Both are hard to understand!

E-Sword is great!
