My struggles never end either. I'm ready for a little more good in my life.

You'd think I know these videos inside and out after spending days or weeks making them. But I don't.

I watch them for content like everyone else, after I post them on YouTube.

Been listening for 2 days now too Dennis. I must say like it was once mentioned here on the forums, I don't yet know whether my relentlentess struggles are due to current judgement or my own disobedience. I await the white throne judgment too. Either way, God will do all his will.

All well said Porter and Musterseed,
We are purchased out of sin, out of slavery in order to be made free in God.

Your question does it have to do with the Israelites being led out of Egypt?
Yes’
The OT is physical Israel. They didn’t obey God, made themselves a golden
calf and worshipped it( other gods) and died in their sins in the wilderness.

The NT Spiritual Israel. Obeys. Worships, and loves Our Lord more then they’re
own life.

The elect are spiritual Israel, the Israel of God,
Egypt is a symbol for sin and evil. God is leading us out . It’s painful
but HIGHLY rewarding.😁

Follow the principal of first the physical and then the spiritual…. Truth #1.

Sorry I didn’t give scriptures. there are plenty . Porter we need your rant
of Scriptures which is not a rant at all, but worshiping in the church of God.
You are awesome as is all of You. Keep the unity of the Spirit.
In Christ , Pamela.

Thank you Pamela and Porter for your responses.  I see how in the new testament how Jesus paid the price for us, but I still don't quite get it in the old testament as we hadn't been redeemed yet IMHO; or does it have to do with the Israelites being led out of Egypt?

Will have to pnder this a bit more.

In God's love, Diane

Diane, here are a few different translations with which to compare.

Deu 32:6  Do you thus repay the Lord, you foolish and senseless people? Is not He your Father Who acquired you for His own, Who made and established you [as a nation]? (Amplified Bible)

Deu 32:6 Is this what you requite to Yahweh, you decadent and unwise people? Is not He your Father Who acquired you? He Himself made you and established you. (Concordant Literal Version)

Deu 32:6 Is it Yahweh, ye thus requite, O impious people and unwise? Is not, he, thy father who begat thee? He, that made thee and established thee? (Rotherham)

Deu 32:6  To Jehovah do ye act thus, O people foolish and not wise? Is not He thy father--thy possessor? He made thee, and doth establish thee. (Youngs Literal Translation)

Personally, I think words like redeemed, bought, purchased, acquired, begat, ransomed, foreknew, predestined, created, made, love, mercy, chosen and elect are all pretty good spiritual synonyms that we can use to help us understand Deu 32:6. If we could just figure out when and where God purchased Israel in the Old Testament, we can figure out when and where God purchased us and what that means. Perhaps these parables can explain.

Mat 13:44  "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure, buried in a field, that a man found and reburied. Then in his joy he goes and sells everything he has and buys that field.

1Co 3:9  For we are God's co-workers. You are God's field, God's building.

These parables are right in line with what Ray taught, per Pamela's quote. I'm sure we can think of ways Jesus “sold” everything He had by emptying Himself of His glory to become a mortal for the express purpose of dying for us, effectively buying us by His own blood.

Joh 12:23  Jesus replied to them, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
Joh 12:24  "I assure you: Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces a large crop.

If He hadn't laid His life down, He would have remained as the only Son of God. Now because of Him, we are all Sons of God. What a great price He paid for us to be with Him in His Family. He knew us before He made us, all He needed to do was redeem us and claim us from the earth He made us from.

In my heart it rips me apart knowing I can't live up to that. I tell Him I will fail Him because I'm powerless to do otherwise. My only hope is to pray for His grace and mercy. I know that sounds a bit negative, but it's the truth as I believe I can do nothing of myself. If left to my devices without a Lord, I will return to the dust of the earth.

I don't know if this answers your question, Diane, as I have a tendency to rant too much about what, I think, are spiritual things. I do however, truly hope Jesus lives His life in us now to the end.

By the way, did you notice Deu 32:6 is part of the song of Moses?

Deu 32:44  Moses came with Joshua son of Nun and recited all the words of this song in the presence of the people.

Rev 14:3  They sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders, but no one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.

Hi Honeylamb, I got this from an e-mail Things of God

Dear Jack
Here is the most important thing that belongs to God.

What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in
you, which ye have of God, and YE ARE NOT YOUR OWN. ( For ye GK. ALL OF YOU)
are BOUGHT with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit
which are God’s.( 1 Co. 6:19-20)

One more:
I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God to present YOUR BODIES
( not your filthy lucre or Caesars tax money) A LIVING SACRIFICE , holy,
acceptable,unto God.( Rom.12:1)

I hope this helps. Also I think bought , redeemed , purchased, ransomed ,
established , all pertain to the same thing. If not then I welcome correction. Here are more scriptures I found. You can check them with Strongs.
1:Co.7:23, Gal: 4-5,Ex.15:16, 1 Pet.1:18,Rev,14:3-4, Lev.25:42, 55, Rev.5:9,
Rev.14:3-4, Matt.20:28 and there are many more.

All caps are Rays
In Christ Pamela

Deuteronomy 32:6

"Do you thus deal with the Lord, o foolish and unwise people?
Is He not your Father, who bought you? Has He not made you and extablished you?"

What is a better meaning of bought?  the center margin refers to Psalm 74:2 where the word used is purchased.

How does God buy or purchase us?  He is the creator so there must be a better translation...I googled the phrase but they just say we were created and no reference to bought.

According to science, the universe is around 13.8 billion years old. The earth is around 4 billion years old. Mankind in general has been around for 200,000 years. From Adam until Jesus walked the earth as a man is 4000 years. From Jesus until now is around 2000 years.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Ray agree with the science? Or perhaps I'm just misunderstanding you seaofglass, forgive me if that is the case. My personal knowledge in this area is limited.

The fun part was trying to figure out the spiritual significance of it all. I have some ideas thanks to Ray's papers. However, the kicker was the realization that the thousand years is mentioned so that we can know when we are in that thousand years. That is because that thousand years is also like a “watch in the night”.

Psa 90:4  For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

If you are still curious……I googled a man by the name Col. Lawrence Wilkerson.
Very prominent figure in the Empire State. Has much to say . Maybe you already
know of him. I shake my head in sadness of what he speaks.

Much love to all of you.💕 In Christ
