A friend of mine sent this to me today, saying I could use it!?! >:( For the record, I've only ever fallen asleep once at work, and it was because I took an extra dose of Contact C for a cold and it dang-well knocked me out! I was the only one at the office that day, and it was only for 15 minutes, so no harm, no foul, right? Regardless, I now have these excuses handy should I ever need them in the future. Not that I ever would, mind you! ;)
Of course this would never happen to US, but I'm sure we work with SOME people to whom it might apply! :)
FIVE BEST THINGS TO SAY IF YOU GET CAUGHT SLEEPING AT YOUR DESK:
NUMBER 5: They told me at the Blood Bank this might happen.
NUMBER 4: This is just a 15 minute power nap they raved about in the time-management course you sent me to.
NUMBER 3: Whew! Guess I left the top off the White-Out. You probably got here just in time!
NUMBER 2: Did you ever notice sound coming out of these keyboards when you put your ear down real close?
And MY all time Favorite:
NUMBER 1: best thing to say if you get caught sleeping at your desk:
(Raising your head slowly) '.... In Jesus name, Amen'.

Ha! My nephew is in High school and he has a teacher who falls asleep at his desk and when anyone comes in he raises his head and says, "In Jesus' name, AMEN!" hahaha! cute! :D

Falling asleep at work? Please!! No excuse will work. When the man falls asleep during sex the lady will accept nothing. Make her out to be a failure in bed and all hell's gonna break loose.

Gee, I suppose you could try the above excuses in that situation too. ??? :-\ LOL! Numbers 2 and 3 might be quite a stretch though (how in the world would you explain the 'keyboard' line???), but the rest of them may be usable, if you're really scrounging around for an excuse! I guess it's all in how smoothly you deliver the lines. I would just like to say, however, that I will not be held legally liable for any damage to property or person should you choose to implement one of these excuses to explain away your fatigue and dormancy habits and your wife just doesn't buy it! :D :P
