Hi Ray,
why did Jesus say what he said in Matthew 24:20 if we no longer keep the Sabbath?
Dear Christopher:
I don't have time to go into all the details of this prophecy, however, when Jesus gave it, all of Jerusalem and Judea DID KEEP THE SABBATH day and it was only about 37 years later that it had its prior fulfillment. Of the very same time we read in Luke 21:20--"And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, THEN know that the desolation thereof is nigh." Those who didn't leave early were most starved to death and worse.
