Title: Prayer for a tough trial I'm going through
Post by: Gabriel on December 08, 2010, 05:06:13 PM
Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I recently told a good friend of mine that I feel I'm praying over a situation that seems beyond hope. I would love to ask the forum to please pray for me.

Your friend and brother,

Gabriel

Hey Gabriel
For the living there is hope, a living dog is better than a dead lion.

You have my prayers, Brother Gabriel.

"...rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing steadfastly in prayer..." Romans 12:12

"Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God." Psalm 42:5

Gabriel, I pray for the difficult situation you find yourself in, and may God's peace descend upon you in this trial you are going through.

God's blessings.

Hi Gabriel

We must all suffer the pain of such conclusions.  God is causing us to know that with Him, all things are possible. We have to come to realize that, by direct experience! :)

Mar 10:27  Jesus looked at them intently and said, "For humans it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God."
Rev 14:12  Here is an opportunity for endurance on the part of God's people, who carefully keep His commandments and the faith of Jesus!"
Php 1:6  For of this I am confident, that He who has begun a good work within you will go on to perfect it in preparation for the day of Jesus Christ.

May God continue to cause you to endure the trial of His purging fire to perfection.
Blessings
Deborah

Gabriel
The fact that you're praying and asking for prayer is evidence that you are doing exactly what you have been inspired to do.
Nothing is beyond hope to a God of miracles.
Let your head be lifted up and living in the positive expectancy of His love.
We have only 'now'.  This moment is all we 'know' that we have.

Live in the moment, for there is only 'now'.
Past and future are only images that we conjure with. They live in our thoughts.
To the extent that God fills our minds is equal to the extent of our confidence in what is to come, what is not yet.
Be of good cheer, knowing that what lies ahead is also past, because He is the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Whatever the outcome, rest assured that His will, WILL be done.
Of that we can be certain.

Peace to your loving heart.
