Title: Aions
Post by: Craig on August 28, 2006, 12:06:26 PM
 Hi Ray,

I did read the Hagee letter and it was the reason for my questions.  I guess what I'm looking for are other references for the definition aions, not 10 or 20 or 100 pages of explanation.  I can get your reasoning and details from what you've already written.  It appears your teaching on hell (hades , sheoul) or whatever it's called, depends on the proper definition of aion.

No matter - I will read the articles you recommended, as well as everything else on your site and hopefully my questions will be answered.  And just so you know, I really am kinda new at this.  I've been trying to become a Christian for the past year or so, but I'm not convinced of anything yet.  It seems like every time I think I have the right interpretation of scripture, a different one comes along.  I don't know who to believe.  If the trained Christians in the churches can't agree on what the truth is, what chance do I have?  I know you're busy and I'm sorry to have bothered you - take care!

Warmly,
Gary

 Dear Gary:
Everyone who is "new at all this" as you say, has many many questions. That is the reason I have written many hundreds of pages of magerials. I cannot possibly answer any questions by emails giving ten or twenty for one hundred pages of explanation. Therefore, you will have to read the material on our site. First read my paper on our home page: "IS EVERLASTING SCRIPTURAL."  This paper will answer 99% of your questions. Ten read the Lake of fire seres, the paper WHICH BIBLE TRANSLATION IS BEST, read the first ten pages of my critique of Hagee's "SEVEN WONDEWRS OF HELL," etc.
God be with you,
Ray

 Dear Ray,

As promised, I have read all the material published on your site.  You are certainly blessed with the gift of gab, however, your lack of writing skills make it nearly impossible to follow any of your topics to a coherent conclusion.  You have masterfully manipulated the scriptures in the most self-serving manner I have ever seen, so virtually none of the information given can really be trusted.  Rather than honestly comparing the different viewpoints scripturally, you resort to obscure interpretations, omissions of opposing scriptures and name-calling... not a cool thing to do.  Throughout your writings, or more accurately "ramblings", it appears that your goal is to place your opinion at the center of the argument regardless of the truth.  I think you delude yourself into thinking you actually understand scripture.

I have concluded through careful study, independent of your materials, that tithing really is an unscriptural doctrine.  I am still studying the topic of "eternal punishment" and "hell" and it's not looking real promising for "hellfire" preachers, but I have yet to reach a conclusion on it.  One thing is for sure though; I won't be relying on any of your materials or methods.  May God bless you and guide you!

Gary

Dear Gary:
Talk about unscriptural, incoherent ramblings.........you suggest that I do not give opposing scriptures to my teacings. Could you give me ten or twenty examples of that?  How about just three?  Tell you what, SHOW ME ONE?!  I always show the opposing Christian view and then the Scriptural Truth.  You really really don't know what you are talking about. You are just spouting off nonsense to hear yourself talk thinking that you are being scholarly. Give it up: you are out of your class.

First of all, when one states a "Scriptural Truth," THERE ARE NO OPPOSING SCRIPTURAL VIEWS TO THE TRUTH!
