Title: Prayer for Friend
Post by: Extol on December 06, 2010, 12:50:46 AM
Dear Brothers & Sisters~
My friend Nicole asked me to request prayer from my family and trusted friends, and I can think of no better place than here to do so.  8)

I won't go into many details, but she has had a rough few months, moving more than once because of bad relationships, job problems, etc. Last week she got  a  job doing what she loves, but she is being kicked out by the people she lives with, so she has to move yet again. Please pray for guidance and provision for her.

I have been talking with her a lot in recent weeks and sharing my beliefs with her. She doesn't want to accept the fact that some of the bad things in her life are also part of God's plan. However , it does seem that her eyes are being opened to the truth of God's universal love. Maybe through this rough time her eyes will be opened further. May God's will be done. Thanks so much guys!

...It usually takes rough times for us to see where our power lies....

and our power lies squarely within God the Father, through the Spirit of Jesus Christ.  by ourselves, we are powerless.

thanks janine.

Hey Extol
Praying, and this scripture comes to mind, been helpful to me over the years.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not to thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Joel
