Last Wednesday evening a F2 tornado touched down completely destroying 30 homes and severely damaging 90 others in my home town of Greensburg, PA. Tornados are very rare in Western Pennsylvania. The worst area hit was in a housing plan, Fort Allen, where my daughter and family lives.
There was a tornado "Watch" issued early in the afternoon. Then around 4:30 PM it became a tornado "Warning." My daughter called my wife around 5:00 PM to tell her to go down to the basement because of the warning. As she was talking she looked out her living room window and saw a funnel cloud heading directly toward her house. She told my wife about it and quickly hung up to take cover. The funnel cloud remained above my daughter's house and did not cause any damage. But ten houses away it came down to ground level and caused considerable damage to many homes.
Can you imagine there were 30 homes destroyed and 90 severly damaged and there were NO INJURIES! Also the High School where my grandson attends had part of the roof torn off, some other damage to the school building and considerable damage to the football stadium. There were 200 students at the school at the time. Thank God no one was injured.
Here's a video taken by a senior who was at the High School mentioned above.

George,
I'm also delighted to hear there were no injuries from this tornado, although I know it was a scary thing to experience.

Nahum 1:3
The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Hi George,
I read something in the Newspaper regarding a Tornado located somewhere in Western Pennsylvania, wondering if it affected You or John Popovich. Talked to John Yesterday and He never mentioned anything, but this Morning I read Your above Thread. So glad no one was injured and Your Daughter's house was spared and Your Grandson's safe. I've never seen a live Tornado and don't desire to do so, Not Withstanding the Movie Twister, Hollywood almost always seems to make a disaster look like fun and excitement until you personally experience some disaster.
Take Care, Samson.
