Hi folks--it has been a joy and a priviledge knowing each and everyone of you.
It has been fun chatting, learning and laughing.
However in order to maintain domestic tranquility I am going to have to say good bye to facebook, B-T., "Friends of Ray" and the computer and replace the hours spent in focusing on family life.
Until further notice, stay healthy and follow God's leading.

Yo! God answered prayer and I negotiated the computer privileges and B-T back so I can continue studying and writing!! The sticky point was/is FACEBOOK, as I got up to sometimes 100-200 messages and I was GLUED to facebook-well, (YA'LL know the rest of the story) for the remaining day/night day-whichever comes first!) so that I wasn't giving satisfactory "face time" to the home front!
So I will be posting on B-T FORUMS as the inspirations hit me! :-)

Betty --didn't want to be a FACEBOOK widow or see my BACK all day
(as I faced the computer screen)!

Congratulations! I used to love facebook, but since February 1 I have been off of it, and I haven't missed it at all. God-willing, I will never go back. I feel liberated somehow...I think FB was eating away at my soul and stealing my virtue. I know you used it in large part to discuss your beliefs, but for me personally, it was mostly just a big time-waster, and a sad reminder of the vanity and pitiful condition of mankind. I hope you will get as much satisfaction as I have being FB-free, and the rewards with your family will be worth it. 8)

God wasn't done working yet and now ALL is even BETTER!
If you ALL would read my facebook columns on my "vulnerable situation", you will see how WONDERFUL GOD IS and HOW WONDERFUL YOU PEOPLE ARE! WOW!
Thank you ALL for your kind support and good words! I may have made a mistake coming back on facebook, personally--because as some of you have said--it can be and sometimes IS a HUGE MEANINGLESS time-waster!
But to include all of you on what happened--Betty had a husband who cheated on her repeatedly. He also did his best to destroy her self-esteem. He often openly flirted with waitresses etc. just to humiliate her! The ONLY request Betty asked of me, under the circumstances of getting my own computer is NO PORN and NO CHATTING WITH WOMEN--ESPECIALLY SINGLE WOMEN! O.K.--I understand--it's a deal! Well, I FAILED MISERABLY!
What happened is that I started posting on B-T here; and, a Christian web-site (somewhat-but not related to this one) on facebook and MANY OF YOU (men and women) responded here and there to my comments! Pretty soon and quite interestingly one third of my correspondence was WOMEN--SINGLE AND MARRIED! (Worse yet, you B-T women are "easy on the eyes"!) So there I would be typing away with the B-T woman's picture staring at me! And Betty semi-fuming at my "lying" about the agreement!
Finally, Betty wrote one of my SINGLE, Christian women and said "WHAT are you writing to my MARRIED husband about??!!
Well, she was SURPRISED but EXTREMELY GRACIOUS and wrote back ASKING Betty to "friend" HER! Betty accepted-apologized to her (as it was MY fault) and ACCEPTED HER AS A FRIEND!
BOI-YOI-YOING! IDEA!! WRITE a "situation letter" and INVITE all 35 plus WOMAN to "friend" Betty! :-)
What a response! "Friend" invitations came POURING IN from ALL OVER (even Africa!)--all the "enemies" are now FRIENDS! AND-- Betty is SO IMPRESSED with the kind of quality and spirituality (of these very same beautiful women) that she can't wait to get more of MY friends! Y-O-U!
Then, some of my MEN friends wanted to "friend" Betty-- so now I am TEASING HER about ALL the good-looking guys! LOL!
So, thanks for your prayers--I can resume with my studies and comments, AND, Betty is THRILLED with her "new family"!
