Title: Neighbor labor
Post by: musicman on November 16, 2008, 10:25:09 PM
Hey guys, I have a problem with this neighbor.  She won't stop bothering me about stuff.  It's gone too far and I think revenge is in order.  Any suggestions?  Longhorn?  Marinez?  Marlene?  Anybody?

You play the horn don't you serenade them

It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?

It's a neighborly day in this beautywood,
A neighborly day for a beauty,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?

I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?

Won't you please,
Won't you please,
Please won't you be my neighbor?

Beloved

If that little tune doesn't do it, then take Marlene's advice and along with the love you could play the Barney Song all day: "I love you, you love me we're a happy family with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you, Won't you say you love me too!"  :-*
Be sweet  ;)

Beloved, Good One. That made me think of a lady who I worked with. She would sing that song when we came to work in the mornings. She ended it by saying it is really a beautiful day in my neighbor hood cause I am gone. LOL.

Hey, I think we got something good going on here. I love that song too. LOL Now, you two have given Musicman something to play his horn too.

Love,
Marlene

Oh, that's not real advice.  Come on!!  I try to help you guys with the perfect payback schemes and the best you can offer is the Barney song?

I have serenaded people with the trombone.  A little Wagner does wonders.  They never mess with me again.

Musicman, you asked! I can't help it if I don't know how to be outright mean!  ::) ;)
Ok now since you are NOT willing to use LOVE to get rid of your neighbor, then wait for Longhorn, I promise you'll enjoy HIS mean ideas! You big ole meanies!  :o :(
I'm just going to go bed and leave you to your own devises! ;D
I just hope you don't get arrested! :P :D
Kathy ;D ;)

Hey Musicman,

The next time she comes over bothering you try this; ;)

Look her in the face and roll your eyes at her like this. ::)

Then turn facing east and in a pleading voice, loud enough for her to hear,
say this prayer;

Lord,
Help me to love my female neighbor as myself,
and grant me patience to deal with her,
for if i ask for anything else,
i may do something you will not like,
she definitely won't like,
and i will regret.
Amen

It may make her think you have totally lost it and stay clear for awhile. ;D

Try this

"Fly away buzzard, fly away crow, way down South where the winds don't blow. Rub your nose, and give two winks, and save us from this awful jinx"

It worked for me ;)

I'm noticing that Musicman gets mostly ladies replying to him. What's up with that?

Dennis,
That's because the men just don't take him serious! (maybe because he's a musician?) And Longhorn's busy in space... ???
We'll start watching that from now on, ok?  ::) ::) ::)

Hey Musicman, Sorry about the typo, now it could have been how late it was or it could have been my new computer. But, at least it gave you a good come back. LOL I kind of like what Craig said. I need to write some of this down. I got thinking about what I typed this morning.  Would SAX fit better. LOL

Ray-Ray! Who would have thought about loaning her money? Anytime you want to get rid of someone just loan them money and say, "Hey I'm gonna need this back as soon as possible." Ha! Good idea! You sound experienced at this sort of thing! :D :D

Oh, well there's the problem.  I didn't loan her the money, I gave her the money.  Now that's why she won't leave me alone.  Kind a like feedin the ducks one time will keep them coming.

Oh, yeah! I can see it now!  Quack Quack! umm... let's see to keep stray animals away from your house don't feed 'em! So now musicman, you gotta stop humoring her. You have to turn her gently away from your door, and giver her the boot!  :)
Don't really kick or anything 'cause that would be mean!  :D and you could get arrested for assault! ;D

ok. maybe try this musicman. since it's almost thanksgiving maybe you could get away with it. get a turkey ready to cook. putting alot of stuffing in it, along with some uncooked popcorn. place it in the oven with the neck end facing the back of the oven. ask your neighbor over for some yummy turkey and kinda hang out in the kitchen with her making sure to position her in front of your oven. when the turkey gets hot enough the popcorn will start popping and blow the popcorn and the stuffing out of the turkeys' bumhole blowing the oven door open with all the lovely warm stuffing and popcorn splattering all over your neighbor. perhaps she will feel sorry for you because your turkey blew up.

Hi Musicman
Someone I knew used to put on his Leonard Cohen albums to get rid of unwanted visitors to his flat, he said it never failed. it's worth a try I guess although it may well back fire on you if they are a fan.
