Dear Ray,
Thank you for your site. It has given me hope - hope
of being saved, hope of understanding the Bible,
faith, and the magnitude of God's love for me and all
mankind.
I've long thought that 'religion' was too complicated
for the average person to comprehend, and apparently a
lot of 'educated' people are confused on it as well. I
see now that it has nothing to do with the level of
education - Your understanding of the Bible comes of
and through the Spirit of the Lord!
I attend a Pentacostal church, though I do not agree
with all their teachings, I do love the fellowship,
the music, the open praise and prayer. The pastor
there said in his se rmon on Sunday that his
grandfather (who was also a preacher) had told him
once that the "Church" had run off a good many
converts by making it too difficult, too complicated
to become a Christian. I think this is true.
Your website helps get the word out that you don't
have to "Religious" and bound down under a million
different laws to be a follower of Jesus, a believer
in the power of God.
