Do I understand you correct that when a person die, nothing goes anywhere?
Please explain:
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust [out of which God made man's body] return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God Who gave it.
When will man’s spirit return to God?

Dear Lodewyk: No, I never said that "nothing goes anywhere," but I have stated that the DEAD PERSON doesn't go anywhere. Yes, the spirit of man, which God gives to a man to give him life, returns to God AT DEATH. This spirit has no consciousness of its own, as it needs a body to regain consciousness. This will happen in the "resurrection from THE DEAD."
