This just in:
Bibles banned in public hospitals across the state of Victoria so as not to offend non-christian staff and patients.
The Uniting Church has stepped forward in outrage at the move saying that the ban is ludicrous, when what we should see in the schools and hospitals are MORE bibles AS WELL as the teachings of the koran, buddah, and any other spiritual material that we can get in there as it all espouses the same message of peace and healing.
So glad the Uniting church has gone in to bat on this issue. I feel so much better now.

and in spite of laws prohibiting literature that incites racial and religious hatred, Islamic book stores continue to stock books on matyrdom, how to turn yourself into a bomb, it's ok to kill women and children for the glory of Allah, and others containing phrases to the effect of, "Being called Australian is NOT something to be proud of, but rather something to be ashamed of."
The NSW government claims it is powerless to police it's own laws.
"But we can at least keep bibles out of our schools and hospitals."
At least they can do something they set out to do.

Trust me, this world has gone mad. In The UK, they have banned Christmas decorations in a town here so as not to offends islam. Its ironic really when yuo think about it, as Christmas has sod all to do with Christ anyway. Muslims reaction here is one of disbeleif as they feel they are being patronised.
