"If one tries to fit the doctrines of Christendom into the teachings of the Scriptures, he will go spiritually insane."

That one got my day started with a good laugh!  :D

I read that email to Ray, but couldn't remember
the setting to that line. So I went back and
re-read the email again.

One that made me bust out laughing (I know it's serious [pre-marital sex] but I could not control it) was; just how close do you think you can get to the edge of the Grand Canyon before you FALL IN?

Both statements by Ray (the spiritually insane and the Grand Canyon comment) caught my attention too. Even with a touch a humor, the seriousness of the truth rings through.
