Important Notice:
DUE TO RECENT BUDGET CUTS,
AND THE RISING COST OF ELECTRICITY, GAS AND OIL,
THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL HAS BEEN TURNED OFF.
WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE
Sincerely,
The Government

When I finally saw the light at the end of my tunnel, I realized it was a train.
Love in Christ
Longhorn
-
;D ;D ;D ;D
-
No light now, means we got free willy now, lets get drunk and go roller skating.
Ricky
-
I would think that getting drunk and going roller stating would be a very bad combination.
;D
-
Lets get drunk and go visit longhorn. ;D ::) ;) in the tardis.
George.
-
Maybe you can help Longhorn find those coffee cans full of money he buried on his property!! You may even find the light again. He may have buried it with the coffee cans!!!
Kathy :D ;D
-
I think it's buried under the Buzzards roost.

Heidi,
I think there are special moderators on here specially trained to watch Longhorn and George, you NEVER know what the two of them may say! Gotta keep an eye on them, they are just too funny!
Kathy ;D ;)
-
Couldn't agree with you more there Kathy.....our boys on the forum can get very rowdy and needs to be kept in line. ;D
-
For your information all credit goes to musicman and longhorn hic 8), they will take the fall as i only drink while
sitting down. hic :-X.

-
You are such a dag George..... ;D
-
Heidi, i resemble that remark, so what is dag ???, hope it smaller than a dragon (dinosaur) :D.
-
It's the Kiwi and Aussie way to say that you are funny.......in the literal it is the bit hanging off a sheep's behind that does not want to fall off. But seriously, it is meant as a compliment not an insult. (I don't know why they use it because when I first moved here I though that they were insulting me......the things you have to learn to understand when joining a new culture, I tell ya! ;D)
-
I didn't realise you were in the land of the great white cloud Heidi.
I grew up there until I was 11.
It's an absolutely gorgeous location, such a beautiful country.
I really miss it some times!
-
Yep, moved here 11 years ago, originally from South Africa. I read somewhere the other day in one of your posts that you and your wife are in Australia. Would that be right? I'd love to visit Australia someday! And if you are not in Aussie, I'd still like to visit it anyways ;D
-
I am an Aussie, but I moved to New Zealand when I was 3 months old.
I was so happy in New Zealand and after my parents split and my mum came back to OZ the dream was over and there was a nightmare in it's place!
-
dag; ??? hmmm, sheep dag :o, oh well guess that is new ground behind me now ;D.
-
Ha! There are such funny sayings everywhere. One time I was emailing an Aussie friend, he had mentioned in his country trucks pull a number of trailers behind them and I said ,"Oh no, in America people would have a cow if a truck pulled more than two trailers at a time!"
He couldn't understand that at all! He said, "I have never seen ANYONE have a cow before!" It was a good laugh!
Kathy ;)

Kiwi / Aussie "dag" is the same as a Southern US "dingleberry". I get it! ;D :D ;D
-
I guess you guys would pooh if i told the pink elephant in the tunnel story. dag plus dingleberry mixed
with guano in a sheep dip would be an interesting combo. :o
-
