Title: Hell
Post by: Craig on June 16, 2007, 10:00:13 PM
From: Paul

Abrahams bosom is never said to be heaven by anyone who understands the scripture even a little bit. Without the blood of Jesus Chist applied by FAITH alone, heaven is off limits (so before His resurection, nobody goes there). Abrahams bosom is a holding place, otherwise known as paradise, where the OT saints went until Jesus Christ Died and Rose.

Lu 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

We know that Jesus had not yet ascended unto His Father even after He rose from he dead, so He was telling the theif that he would be with Him in PARADISE, also know as Abrahams bosom.

1Pe 3:18 ¶ For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
    1Pe 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
1Pe 3:21 ¶ The like figure whereunto [even] baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
1Pe 3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

You don't need to more formal education, but you DO need to understand the WHOLE council of God before you say "God revealed these truths to me".

    The Bible says:

1Jo 4:1 ¶ Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

You've got a devil telling you He is God, not uncommon! A devil would want people to belive there is NO HELL.

Re 19:20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Re 20:10  And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Re 20:14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Re 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Lu 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Re 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Re 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

I wont argue on and on, but I figured someone needs to tell how much you've missed on this subject. To me it is night and day obvious that hell AND the eternal lake of fire exists for people who reject Jesus Christ and for people who say they believe in Him, but who also trust their own good works to "keep" their salvation.

You should read every book ever written by Peter S. Ruckman, and eat the meat and spit out the bones. He is not perfect, but he knows the book better than anyone else alive today. He has been studying it for MANY years, not just a few.

    In Christ Jesus,

    Paul

Dear Paul:  You state: "Abrahams bosom is a holding place, otherwise known as paradise, where the OT saints went until Jesus Christ Died and Rose."  OH really?

"Abraham"s bosom is a holding place..."  SCRIPTURE?
"Abraham's bosom is...known as paradise..."  SCRIPTURE?
"Abraham's bosom is ...where the OT saints went until Jesus died and rose"  SCRIPTURE?

Three unscriptural lies in one sentence, and you are telling ME how to understand the Scriptures?

What a CROCK!
Sincerely,
Ray

No problem ray. I can see from your attitude that the Bible has not produced a mature Christian, which is why your so far off on the scriptures. Everyone wants to say "God showed me these things", RATHER than follow Gods method for learning:

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

A sincere and mature Christian can discuss things, but you are obviously a babe.

    Have fun decieving people,
    Sincerely,
    Paul

They would all just shrivel up and DIE, if they couldn't get the last word in, Readers.   If I were to ask him for the three Scriptures to his three unscriptural lies again, he would write me back again, and again.   Getting the last word in, is his proof that he is right and I am wrong. Ya see, "I couldn't answer him," therefore he shut my mouth and proved me wrong.  Oh the joys of the carnal mind to the carnal-minded.  This guy just LOVES the pagan doctrines of Christendom, but oh how he despises the Word of God.

Ray, your last correspondent Paul was pushing the line about ‘Paradise’ being “Abraham’s Bosom’ which is a ‘holding place’ before the OT saints were allegedly taken into heaven. The teaching goes that the Rich man is still there, awaiting his eternal damnation in the eternal hell-hole blah blah blah believe-me-and-pay-me-tithes.
I’m not sure who started this myth, but it certainly has been promoted by Peter Ruckman and Jack Chick.

Ruckman himself has publicly stated that God has revealed to him doctrines that have never been taught before, so maybe he is the originator of this nonsense.

One thing I have noticed about the followers of Ruckman (been there, done that) is they virtually believe that questioning Ruckman is equivalent to questioning God. (So you and I are in MAJOR trouble!)

Just keep those truths coming Ray.

Blessings in Christ,
Robert.
