Title: Getting Married!

I'm sure some of you have read my post about coming back to God, so you would know that I said something about getting married soon. That "soon" is This Saturday! Just wanted to share the good news! :D I recommend anyone to listen to the audio or read about Ray on "What is a Marriage". It really helped me to not be afraid that I was doing something wrong in having a physical ceremony.

Kat, I'm actually not nervous at all, but I'm sure that'll change at the appointed hour.

The funny thing is, we're having this ceremony through a pastor, so people at that "church" still keep in contact with us; but they try to give us advice (without being asked to of course) about money and about money and about money. It seems that the carnal world just can't get their views in marriage or life in general to forget about money; even for a minute. The "church" I came from was known as a "word of faith" church. One of those "faith only" churches. They believe that you are what you say, rather than where scripture says you are what you think. Although even they find cause to hold men responsible for everything. As an example, Some pastor comes up and tells you that God gave them the power through spoken words and that all they have to do is have faith that they'll get healed. When they're not healed, the pastor tells them that they didn't have enough faith.....how's THAT for a damnable heresy? They condemn people without literally condemning them. Anyway, I'm glad to see that you guys are as excited as I am. This marriage also marks that absolute breaking free from the carnal church of the world for me.
