Hello Ray,
I really enjoyed your essay on tithing. I do agree that tithing is not scriptural, but alms giving is. Jesus taught on giving alms. Your essay really helped to put things in perspective in my mind and the Holy Spirit has confirmed. I have not read any of the other articles you have written, but do appreciate your clarity in the tithing issue. I plan on writing some letters to some of the ministers I have heard teaching on this subject. I applaud your boldness in uncovering the truth, moreover that you took a stand. The scriptures say that if two of us shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven (Matt. 18:19). Today I join my faith with yours in praying that God will reveal more truths to His body and they shall be set free, in the name of JESUS.
