However, will it make any difference to us, the elect of God?

Of course it makes a difference to the Elect. We have Bible apps for our phones. We might not accomplish Matthew 6:27, but if we do the reverse, not worry but be joyful, guess what? Studies have shown that we get to live longer.

I forgot to add that the ways we can potentially use smartphones for our benefit reminds me of the TRICORDER from Startrek.

We also got the Ipad idea from Star Trek too!

Next thing you know is teleporters and space travel! 

Oh and don't forget Phasers, tractor beams and other cool technologies that came from Star Trek!
