Hey,
I understand where you are coming from i goto a pentacostal church, and i am only 17 doing my final year of school. I love my god and also my church, my church does at times preach on tithing but not as a forced concept which is required of all members, or they are going to hell kind of thing. Personally i find that the concept of tithing can be applied to my giving. For example i give every week because i love god and i love seeing people's lives changed so i try to, consistently give 10 percent of the money i get. I just wanted to ask about your opinion on that?
Also i was wondering, my senior pastor who i think loves God with a passion, he does tend to have expensive things, for example a Harley. However it was given to him and he has produced money from writing books and tapes, is this wrong? personally i am fine with him producing money from writing books, etc because i have gained insight into the word and God.
