During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the
Director how do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.
'Well,' said the Director, 'we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a
teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him
or her to empty the bathtub
'Oh, I understand,' said the visitor. 'A normal person would
use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup.'
'No.' said the Director, 'A normal person would pull the
plug. Do you want a bed near the window?'
HEHEHEHEHE !!..... ;D :D ;D :D ;D :D

:D I love that one, John! Actually, I've probably been asked on more than one occassion: would you like a bed by the window? But I took up this saying from one of the other forum members:
"Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held her ground!"
:)

Hey, it can be scary.
There was one fellow who was a bit odd and therefore was not like the rest. His parents were spoken to by one of his teachers. The teacher said, " Your son is a backward child. He is a slow learner. I am afraid he has no academic future to look forward to, and he will most likely be dropping out of school in the near future."
The students name ?
Albert Einstein !
And so, if you are out of the limits of normalities, you WILL be perceived as being what you are not, by those whom are confined within it.
