A MESSAGE FROM RAY
To our Bible-Truths Forum and Believers in Christ:
I don’t suppose anyone wants me to sugar-coat the facts regarding my present situation, so I will level with you.
But first thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the prayers and concerns for my present state of affairs!
Although I have made numerous adjustments in my diet and eating habits over the past few years, nonetheless, I still suffered with almost run-away diabetes and other ailments. As I had prostate cancer 5 years ago and received radiation treatment for it, which brought my PSA down from 14 to 0.05, I assumed that my present doctor (who even sent me to a urologist four years ago to check my progress) was checking my PSA regularly with my regular blood work done to monitor my numerous other conditions over the past four years. Apparently not! About 10 days ago my clinic called and informed me that my PSA was checked this time, and showed a PSA of 107.8. Unbelievable! I was sent to Providence Hospital for another blood and urine test, and it confirmed that number.
I was then scheduled last Wednesday for a bone scan. Here is the abbreviated result:
Providence Hospital Diagnostics Whole Body Bone Scan. Ray Smith:
IMPRESSION: Markedly abnormal study with widespread bony metastatic neoplasia throughout the skull, spine, thoracic cage as well as the pelvis and proximal long bones.
My wife and I had a consultation with the cancer Doctor, and were informed that it was terminal and there were no treatment options for improvement. I have what is typically called “Stage IV” cancer. He highly urged me to go on Casadex for two weeks before starting Lupron shots ($2000 a shot), which he said could buy me as much as one or two years by inhibiting testosterone from entering the cancer cells which thrive on it. Without this attempt to prolong my life a little longer, his prognostication was down to months.
I was fully aware of the fact that if I agree to this band-aid procedure, which is detrimental to the body in many other ways, that I would be signing my own death certificate. My poor wife urged me to proceed, only wishing to prolong my life even if only a short time.
I really agonized for those three days. I would say to my wife several times a day, “Honey, I am really having a hard time dealing with this.” She would say, “I know, I wish I could do something for you, what can I do?”
The stark realization that my remaining life would be so short, and the agony of rotting away from this miserable disease was more than I could contemplate. And the last thing my cancer doctor warned me of was the real possibility that I could now break bones easily in their advanced deterioration, and that any crushing of my spinal bones would bring almost instant paralysis. He wanted to start his procedure quickly.
I was truly “three days and three nights in the heart of the earth!” I cried out to God for peace of mind. I knew you were all praying for me too, and so God answered our prayers, and I have had no real mental agony or emotional trauma for the last five days!
I went back and forth over whether to listen to my Doctor or try something alternative. Every day we searched the Internet for alternative treatments. This was pretty disappointing, especially for treating stage IV cancer. There are a lot of cancer hucksters on the Internet, but not many with any real track record. The only good site I found was on Friday. It is “The Cancer Tutor” site. So I knew there are alternative treatments, even for advanced cancer, although I could find no testimonial of anyone surviving a cancer PSA of 107.
Friday I determined that I would not follow doctor’s orders and sign my own death certificate. We considered several clinics (one in Mexico, a couple in the USA, and my wife suggested we could go back to Germany where they have some success in alternative cancer treatments), but most cost around $35,000, except in Germany my wife and I would be covered under her German citizenship. I kept thinking that I needed to be under the care of a real doctor, as even these alternative and natural treatments can get quite technical and involved.
I then remember a man I can to know over a three-month period about five years ago just after moving to Mobile. His name is Dr. Jimmy Steger. But he is not a medical doctor. He is a World’s Champion of Martial Arts. He does, however, have two doctorates: One a PhD, and the other, Doctor of Nutrition. So I called him and he quickly agreed to work with me—he is just ONE MILE from my house. We met just briefly with him after hours on Friday. He gave me my first treatment to take home—a gallon of water. Living water, they call it—Ph 9.5. All cancer patients have acidic bodies. Dr. Steger’s first goal along with powerful nutrition to the remaining good cells in my body, is to get my body from acid to alkaline, and then design a protocol that will send maximum oxygen to the cancer cells—cancer can not live in a pure oxygen environment. This is not, however, a quick or easy feat to accomplish, especially in advanced stages such as mine. But I believe that God is directing this matter.
My wife and I met with Dr. Steger yesterday and discussed our situation. Dr. Steger is a man of faith, and is adamant about keeping God’s laws of health and nutrition. He kindly stated: “You break God’s laws and sooner or later He will smack you down.” He knows a little of my faith, and flatly told me and my wife, that he could not cure me, but that if I was to be cured, it would have to come from God. We were agreed on this. He gave me several more powerful foods and nutrients to start immediately. He is rushing some lab work on me today, and we will meet again tomorrow if results are back. He is working up a specialized protocol for my condition, which I will begin in earnest Thursday.
Dr. Steger is a one-of-a-kind person. I doubt that there is another like him on earth. Because of his unusual background and talents, I decided to include for your consideration a few pages on Dr. Steger from the Internet. I don’t want anyone to think I am taking treatment from a snake oil salesman. I hope you will all continue in prayer with me (I know you will). These are the times that try men’s souls. Couldn't stop crying while reading Ray's message, :'( :'( :'( , I don't know what to say, Wow, this is a test of our faith, now I wish that I would be attending the conference, I really wanted to meet him, at least someday. All we can do, is pray for Ray and God's Will be done.

I will be praying that God will answer our prayers for Ray's healing. I know He is able. My sister had advanced cancer of her lymph system. She was hospitalized at the Mayo Clinic when the doctors said there was no hope. The family was called to her bed side to say our goodbyes. Being a praying family we made our partition know to God. My father would say that she was minutes from death when God healed her; although she did have a long recovery. Today my sister is 74 years old and she has been cancer free for over 40 years. Praise be to God. I know that God heals because I have seen in with my eyes. I know he answers prayer because he answers mine. More than all this, I know God is working His perfect will, and for that I am so thankful.
I am praying for Ray, I am blessed by his ministry.

Thank you Bro.Ray for letting us know and leveling with us your brethren about your present condition. This is valuable information for us. You know that we all love you dear brother for we consider you as our leader and teacher in leading us to the truth of God.
I will always thank God for giving us a Mr. L.Ray Smith whom God is using as an instrument in spreading His truth we are in awe and in owe of you.
I know that what you are experiencing right now is in God’s will and like Paul, you will run the race and finish your course despite with all this pains and sufferings you are encountering and I know that you will emerge victorious and as like in the Olympics, you will bring your torch to the finish line and will endure till the end.
Jesus Christ is greater who is in you than all the sickness in this world combined. He is our Great Healer, so I speak healing upon you brother in Jesus name!

Well I have went through all kinds of emotions this last week. But at this point I have come to a very confident feeling of hope that this cancer will not be unto death for Ray. I do know that God will be glorified whatever happens.

it is absolutely amazing to see God work. His Will led you to dr. steger and i have NO doubt you are indeed where He wants you to be. i cannot even begin to say i know what you and manuela are going thru. i am a breast cancer survivor for 8 yrs now, but mine was in stage -0-, in situ. when i read through your pathology report i cried for you and your earthly family, as well as for us you spiritual family. then as i continued to read your email, i could see God doing what He does best, offering hope in the midst of the "fire". maybe you (or anyone of us for that matter) have one hour, one day, one month, one year, or many years left but the bottom line is, it's not over on this earth for any of us til God says it is. it is hard to imagine you growing any stronger in your faith and understanding of God, but here you are STILL inspiring us in the middle of your "hell". i praise God for giving you His perfect peace. i praise God for the internet as His tool for bringing us all together to see and (hopefully) truly learn His marvelous hidden Truths. i praise God that you are a "master" at digging deep, deep, deep into His Scriptures to bring to surface those wonderful "gems". i praise God that i have the opportunity to meet you in nashville in september, according to His Will. i praise God for dr. steger and his unique specialities. i praise God that you were able thru God to tell your regular md, "wrong paleface" with regards to the injections. again, can there be ANY doubt that God led you to dr. steger? no, no, a thousand gazillion times NO. i pray that His Will continue to uplift you and manuela. i pray that God will also uplift us at BT as we all suffer with you and need your prayers too. i so look forward to meeting you and manuela. see you in september. Ray i strongly believe in my spirit that God is not finished with you yet. There is still something/or somethings that He wants to reveal using you as his chosen instrument. I FEEL THIS IN MY SPIRIT. Ray, when I read your message about your condition my heart was broken. Isn't it wonderful the way our Father connects us even though we have never met? I felt as if I was reading letter from one my own brothers and I called out immediately to God that he might spare you. Ray thank you for letting us know and not treating us if weren't worthy. I will continue to have you and your family in my prayers.

There is so much to say that I'm at a loss for words. Cancer has taken many whom I loved. I am so glad that Ray has updated us on his course of treatment and that he is going the natural route.
I would SO HIGHLY recommend a course of treatment in a hyperbaric chamber and will email Ray about that. His doctor did mention the importance of oxygenating cancer cells so possibly that will be a part of the treatment. I have a friend who was greatly helped by oxgenating this way.

Praise God! He heals in the natural for He is Super-natural and in charge of all of nature. God has a purpose for having Sr. Steger so close to L. Ray Smith. It is no accident that many have researched healthy living and alternative healing. At this moment in time, I would also choose alternative medicene in the event of cancer. So much to learn every day in the situations that He has designed. I also loved the last teaching straight from our Father out of Ray's mouth. We are ever learning and it is so much easier when He drags us to be teachable, just like a little child! Such is the Kingdom of Heaven.

I don't know what to say. I want to say something, but like others here, I am at a loss for words.
Keep the faith, brother! I know you will. And I also know that you are a fighter. You don't like being on the defensive.

Just a note - I talked to Ray yesterday and he seems to have a positive attitude.
I have a very good impression of Dr. Steger, being a medical doctor he was able to order the tests to get the info necessary to formulate Ray a very specialized diet plan. He is on a stringent regiment of taking in a lot of specially prepared foods and nutrients through out the day. The special oxygenated water is a basic part of Ray's treatment and he will have to drink a lot over the course of time. This Doctor is so very much on top of all that is happening in Ray's body and is doing everything possible to counteract all the problems that from his extensive experience he is aware of and to get Ray's body in the best possible condition to fight this disease. Over all his costs are quite reasonable, considering what it costs for any kind of treatment in most cancer clinics.
Ray has confidence in what Dr. Steger is doing. He stated he felt like his original doctor's treatment was like trying to put out a raging house fire with a garden hose. He feels that the extreme diet he is on now is more in line with his diagnoses.
Dr. Steger is familiar with all the different places (Germany, Mexico) that Ray was considering going for treatment and could explain to Ray the shortcomings of these, as he has traveled all over the world seeking the best natural treatments. But as a medical doctor, he also has the full range of understanding there too.
Well I think that gives you the gist of it and I think I have related this pretty close to what was said in our conversation. I have developed a calm assurance that all will be well. I know that the outcome is in God's plan for the best and rest on His wisdom and grace.

Thanks for posting, Kat! It helps to know that Ray seems to have made a wise choice in a treatment plan. I am continuing to make my "requests made known," which include Ray's daily improving strength and vitality, peace and clear mind. Sometimes these intense treatments leave a person feeling "different" for a period, before things suddenly improve!

We are showing our faith by prayers but we also should be showing our works with financial support. So I appeal to the moderators to organize with Ray's permission for some sort of fund to be set up. We have received treasure beyond all valuation, the least we can do is show some small gratitude. "If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” (Jas.2:15-18).

As snake oil salemen go Mr Steger IS ONE OF THE BEST,lol. As a life long Jeet Kune Do expert myself and wholistic practioner of nutrition I used a special diet to help me beat pnuemonia early this year and I struggle constantly with Fybroid Myalgia which is a type of chronic muscular fatigue. Plenty of exercise done steadily, filtered water, clean wholefood eating and good supplimentation all help to keep the illness at bay. I too faced death on those lonely nights curled up in a ball in my front room burning up with the pnuemonia with only my wife on the settee beside me and in my mind my voice crying out to God to make me well. Praise God! He did allow me to get well, I hope He will grant you the same as I.
I hope what is done for you Ray will cause a turn around if it all be in God's will. I'm sure there is much prayer for your success in beating this cancer floating around God's abode, mine will be floating around for you too. It was your revelations from God that I came to for solace and comfort when God called me out of the Pentecostal church I attended 5yrs ago. Without your site and the eye opening information on it I don't know what I would have done. God has really worked through you Ray and whatever the outcome of this illness is you will have not buried your talent in the dirt.

Ray, my knowledge of you started out greedy and vengeful. I took your challenge to prove you wrong to gain the $1,000.00 bucks and started reading your material line by line. I printed out everything on your website, including peoples letters, and looked for a mistake because at that time, to me, you had to be wrong! The teaching is so different that mainstream christianity. To my wonderful suprise!!!, God was working me. I started reading over 4000 pages of the material every month, every chance I get, I read. Than after months of reading over and checking my bible I finally realized, "Ray is right"! Although I'm not perfect yet, I am a different person from 6 years ago when I saw your website for the first time. Not a day goes by when I'm connected that I don't visit it. That cancer will never be as potent as the blessing God has poured on the earth through you and your wife. Now I preach the message to people who want to hear it at the opportune times. I am praying for you Ray! I have sent info to Kat for you to look at on how to become cured of cancer using alternative means. Please get back with me and let me know what you think. Also, Gena mentioned CHELATION THERAPY...I have taken these treatments before for my Gulf War Syndrome. All I can say is that you had better drink plenty of water to flush out your organs b/c they will become overburdened with HEAVY METALS that must pass through the liver especially. Ray, I have to tell you I now know how to Love like God . It pains me to hear you are ill. I certainly Love you and all the beautiful people on the forum. I have never had friends who love me like they do. I know Gods will is best. I will keep you in my prayers.
I have to tell you I was in the Hell of my mind. I had fallen into a sin that I felt God would never forgive me of. It was the same sin someone I loved was in and hurt me. Then, I ended up needing it. I felt like I desearved Hell. Then, I began to hate Hell. I put in the words of Hell amost a year ago and your Website came up.I read for two days.
I had just recently, been hurt by the Pastor in my last church. He took and told my husbands and my tithe. He said, he didnt know, but another couple had left because he told someone what they tithed. Then, he continued to say that God might kill anyone not paying there tithe. I had just had a blood stream infection temp 109 and 107 for almost a week. He did not kill me. I had a large stroke on right side of my brain, but no paralysis. I had to leave because god protected me during that illness. I had always give with my heart and as able. I could no longer stay in a place where a Pastor would lie and then. Put himself in the seat of God to say he might kill me. But, I have forgiven him, because finding your website set me free.
It would take all day to tell you what your website did for me. But, I will finish with this. It gave me freedom from Hell. It gave me his true character and love for me. I have learned to Father Forgive Them They Know Not What They Do.
I know who is in control. Best, of all I am not trying to do it myself anymore. His will to save me is truely his work. He freed me of sins I had been trying for years on my own to stop. I am still learning, but I am so blessed he sent me to your Website. I love you and feel the pain of your family.Now, he has put the desire to run in this race, and I know its all up to him if I am chosen either way I do not worry now.

Hi Ray, blessings in the name of our lord JESUS, it was not without sorrow i read of your poor physical healtlh, having lost my dad to cancer, my mom and a few cousins to diebetes,just over a month ago i lost my elder sister in her fifties to diebetes, and again last week my youngest sister had an heart attact in the states and is still in the hospital, again because of diebetes, my prayers went out immediately to you and your family for the pain and sorrow you all must be going through, almost two years ago i got really ill, diagnos with diebetes and hasnt been coping with it (physically) well since then, but thanks be to the LORD, HE sent a comforter, i stumble on your site while i was searching through some commentarys on andrew wommacks site, when i read your paper on Isaiahs prophesies on CHRIST, cant recall the title, (how he was without form or comeliness,and again, physician heal yourself)and your burning away off the illusion of "free will", through the power of JESUS CHRIST from my life i have been able to better cope with this and all other problems in my life knowing that what ever happens in life is just the fathers way of teaching obedience through the things we bear, he plans your life brother RAY, i have the utmost respect for you and the ministry the LORD put on you and the spirit wills me to pray for you to have good courage, peace, in the name of JESUS CHRIST our lord and saviour.

Ray......I don't know if this will reach you or not, but i want to encourage you to not give up hope, I am 67 years old and many years ago i was in the wwcg . I became very sick one day with intense fever in fact so bad you almost couldn't leave you hand on me, couldn't eat or drink, and after two days i called the Pastor and ask him to anoint my, the church did not believe in doctors, as you well know, after i was anointed i still became increasing worse and on the seventh day, i became so weak because of not eating and drinking that i couldn't hardly hold my head up, i wiped my lips with my arm and the skin came off, i was literally cooking with the fever, so I looked up and said to GOD, well i guess you are not going to heal me and i am going to die this is my time and full well expected to die right then. And suddenly through the door that entered my room where my bed was this thing came, it looked exactly like a rope made of water about a foot in diameter and was at the hight of a normal human being, it moved straight through the door in line with my feet and then advanced toward me to my head stayed for a few seconds and went back exactly as it came. And all the sudden i had no fever and was not even weak no pain not nothing as fast as you could snap you finger. The reason i am telling you this is so you wont lose heart brother. God has used you for a good work and you have given new hope to many who felt hopeless and discouraged about their circumstances. Most all your articles are sound and help many. Causes us to think more about what we are hearing. My hope is that God will heal you and keep you active in His work.

But I will pray for you also, as I feel it is right. You have made me not afraid to read the Bible. I hope that it is God's will for you to get better. I e-mailed Ray a day(24 hour period) or two ago and below was his response, thought it would be nice to share with the forum.
Dear Roy: Thank you for your concern, Roy. I am doing okay, although I have gone through a couple of months of severe pain in virtually all of the areas where the cancer metasticized in my spine and bones. Sometimes 2 or 3 places and other times a dozen places at the same time. Presently most of these very severe pains have dissipated, with only tolerable pains left in my left shoulder arm and leg. My doctors said that sometimes we get worst before we get better. I don't think the pains would subside if they were really growing and worsening. Thank you for your prayers and support, Roy, as it is much appreciated.

I cannot even put into words how I felt when I read the news about Ray. I cried for a time then I prayed. It truly is, like everything else in life, in God's hands. That does not mean that we have to like it. I don't.
The impact that Ray has had on my life cannot be overstated. I was wailing and praying to God one night: "God, please, I am SOOO sick of all of this Hell stuff and I am so afraid for my sons and my loved ones and if I am really honest in that quiet part of my heart that no one hears but God, I am scared for me, too. I have to know if all this Hell stuff is real!" Well, I then went to the internet, typed in "Hell" and viola! there was Ray. I read deep into the night and downloaded like crazy for the next year!!
I would read at work, I would read in the bathtub, I would read while traveling......I read Ray's articles over and over and over again. And this joy, this, indescrible joy spread over me and a peace that truly passes all understanding sat quietly in my heart.
I finally had the truth!!!! I wanted to shout to everyone I met ( and for a time my witnessing to my fellow Christians about Universal Reconciliation bcame quite obnoxious. More than one became concerned about my descent into "heresy ". My brother, a fine Lutheran minister, has called me a "mystic heretic"). But I did not care! I FINALLY HAD GOOD NEWS. REALLY good news!!
Anyway, each day I take a one-two hour walk and I listen to sermons on UR by various folks including Ray. I also pray. I will add Ray to my prayer list. I commit to praying for him everyday that he battles this cancer on earth.

I too sent my prayers & thoughts to Ray on the 03/16 and got a reply from him the next day. That had made my week....now spilling into weekS ;D. That has prompted me to sign onto the forum so that i'm in the loop with his health progress. Interestingly, i can only access the net while at work but our server normally blocks chat sites. For these past weeks, there has been no 'blocks' to this forum....must be divine-intervention ;)
If it is God's will, i have no doubt that our Divine-Physician will heal Ray.

Ray,you should drink as much water as you can in a day.when I felt the inward parts of my body which has been pain（cuz befor sever years when I worked hard to 24 hours even more, so I smoked a lot for keep me sober,）then I drank as much water as I can in a day,and then the inward parts of my body which has been not pain.
