Title: personal email
Post by: okjohnson on July 19, 2007, 10:58:34 AM
Hi

My profile allows me to hide my email from the public, but it is also not visible to the members of the forum . Their's is likewise.

Is there a way to make an email address visible to members of the forum and not the public ? or to request a personal email from a member without the public seeing the post ?

Can't find an answer.

I can think of several reasons why this might be useful.

Tell me how you figured it out, because I would have answered no.

The following is what I discovered:

a) Select  "Profile" from the toolbar at the top of the webpage to see your profile, and then under "Modify Profile", choose "Personal Message Options", in order to set up your own personal message options.

b) To read your personal messages , select "My messages" from the toolbar at the top of the web page.

c) To send a personal message, when reading a thread, select the person's link at the left of the webpage you want to send a personal message to and then at the bottom of their profile select "Send this member a personal message" .
