I'm confused. God calls us, as in Paul, but we are to be looking for him, also?
We are told that if we seek him we shall find him but we are not saved when we "turn our life over to him"? Are you saying we are only saved after the resurrection?

Dear Deb:
Yes, we are saved in the resurrection to life. Read "The Sinner's Prayer" near the end of my paper "YOU FOOLS! YOU HYPOCRITES! YOU SNAKES!" Remember just as many turned to Christ ("MANY believed on Him"--John 7:31), many of those same people turned away from Him ("...MANY of His discipes went back, and walked no more with Him--John 6:66).
