Title: Can you answer this?
Post by: rrammfcitktturjsp on December 16, 2006, 02:44:09 PM
Howdy to all,

  2 questions.

  1.  Do you know what each baby in this world is born missing and this missing part does not come until 2 years of age?

  2.  Railroads crossing, passing cars, spell that without any r's?

  Have fun,

  Sincerely,

  Anne C. McGuire

Gena,

You would be surprised to hear how many people will sit and spell out all of number two without spelling that.

And the answer to no. 1 are knee caps.  When I was first told this I had to go and feel my then three month old son's knees, and sure enough no darn kneecaps.

  Pretty amazing.

  Sincerely,

  Anne C. McGuire

THIS ONE YOU HAVE TO ASK AND NOT WRITE.......HOW MANY SECONDS ARE THERE IN A YEAR?  THE ANSWER IS TWELVE.  JANUARY 2, FEBUARY 2, MARCH 2, ETC.  YOU WON'T BELIEVE HOW MANY PEOPLE START COUNTING.......LET'S SEE THERE ARE SIXTY SECONDS IN A MINUTE.....AND SO ON.

FOR ALL YOU KIDS OUT THERE!  WHY IS 6 AFRAID OF 7?

Title: How Another Generation Heard It
Post by: Joe_Riley on December 18, 2006, 04:53:09 PM
Hi Anne,

When I was your age, this is how I heard it:

Railroad crossing, look out for the cars.
Can you spell that without any 'R's?

(There's an extra 'R' in there.)

Be Well,
Joe_Riley

Hello,

Thanks for the laughs. It took me much longer than it should have to get THAT.

I am  going to feel my 9 month old nephews knee caps. Can't believe I raised 3 children, owned and directed an early childhood program of 180 children and was not aware of the knee caps.

God bless,

Kennymac

Joe,

Yeah I heard that one from my husband.  I just thought that was how it went.

OH here's another one.

Which country has the most fast food restaurants or franchises?  Look for the answer tomorrow.

  Sincerely,

  Anne C. McGuire

P.S. - My husband got a trivia book from our friends and there's a lot of amazing things in there.

Hi Anne,

I think you have a great sense of humor.  :D

I heard that thing about knee caps somewhere; must be just cartilidge instead of bone. ;D

Is the answer AMERICA for having the most restraunts?

I have two questions for all of you...

1-What is the plural of Y'ALL???
2What State in the USA could legally break away from the Union w/o any legal repurcussions from the United States and become their own Sovereign State??
3-(Hubby has one for you now...)  What goes 'WHITTIC, WHATTIC' and is a three legged MATTIC?

TUNE IN FOR THE ANSWERS TOMORROW...(GOTTA GET TO BED)

till tomorrow...

To all,

The answer to the question of which country has the most fast food restaurants is China with a whopping 555,200 restaurants.  The good Ole' USA came in second with 178,650.  I asked my husband this last night and we both answered USA.

To hebrewroots98

Why thank you. ;D  I kinda get some of my humor from those wierd friends I hang around with frequently, they have really taught me to lighten up some and smell the roses. :D

  To you questions

I will not answer no. 1 seeing how you told me about that one day.
No. 2 - I believe it is Texas becuase we would be big enough to make a country and it has the Texas Tech Red Raiders in it.
No. 3 - What the heck?  Never heard of this one.  Looking for that answer tomorrow.

December 20, 2006 - What is the city with the most skyscrapers?

  Sincerely,

  Anne C. McGuire

Hello everone,

Here are the answers to yesterdays questions:

1-the PLURAL for Y'all is....... ALL Y'ALL! ;D (a little Texas humor)

2-Yep, you guessed it...TEXAS is a Soveriegn Republic! :o

3-THE SPINNING WHEEL goes 'whittic, whittic' and is a 3 legged mattic.  (the exact sound is made by every spinning wheel.  ;)

Anne, is the answer Seattle, Washington for the most skyscrapers?

See YALL later.
Be a blessing to someone today.

Susan,

I'll give you a hint.  It is not a US city, though New York City came in second place with 178 skyscrapers.  This city beat New York by only 2.

To all,

Hong Kong is the winner.  Now I am reallly bad in geography, but is that in Japan?

  Today's Trivia Question:

How many bones is a baby born with? Note the answer will be the rounded form, I cannot remember exactly to the nearest ones what it is.

  Sincerely,
