Title: Re: Not so very important but concerning excercise
Post by: judith collier on August 19, 2010, 10:45:14 PM
the gospels were written long after Christ's humanity. Ancient Rome and Greece were known for games and killings showing off their physical strength You probably know this but something else, we seem to think ancient people were not nearly so smart and human as us but look at some of their wondrous work. The library at Alexandria was destroyed hundreds of yrs. ago and it was claimed the wisdom and history that existed there could never be surpassed.
Reaching further back I believe thousands of yrs. ago men and women were just as smart and surely saw the result of their physical activities.

The Greeks started the Olympic games in 776 B.C. As I recall from studying with my daughter last year, the Romans and Greeks were very intent on having beautiful bodies!
