 Hello everyone in forum land! I am a new member logging on for the first time. I am a former WWCG member and bible-truths found me one night (day?) several months ago.One subject that was a real blessing was to find out that the lake of fire was a place not to be feared. From then on I thank God every night for the wonderful truth that all who have ever been born will be saved.  No need to worry about the fate of my family, friends, or myself any more. But I also pray that God will grant me the mercy to be one of His firstfruits for the proper reasons and not for my own carnal wishes. I live in League City, Tx. and wonder if there are any others out there from my  neck of the woods?

You live near Galveston, did you suffer damage from the hurricane?
I'm not in Texas, I'm in LA- that's Lower Alabama!! ;) :D HA! Hope you enjoy being here,

Thanks all for the warm welcome. Yes, Ninny we did have slight damage to our fence but nothing like Galveston got. I have already repaired the fence. And no Brenda I don't shoot Bambies but I do enjoy shooting big, mature whitetail bucks and sharing the meat with others (my wife and son don't care for the meat).

I'm glad you have joined us here  :)
My husband is an ardent deer hunter and we enjoy the meat quite a bit. 

I think you will appreciate the fellowship we have here, as it is good to have like minded people to discuss what we are learning with.

welcome buckhunter from austin. i have been to league city a time or two. my brother used to live in seacrest years ago. he was working for nasa at that time (now he works for lockheed martin in colorado). i was glad to hear you received only minor damage from the hurricane. glad to have you on the forum. ray has been such an inspiration to us all as a blessed teacher of God's scriptures and as a man personally as he endures his current physical suffering.
