Title: Prayer for a family member
Post by: Marlene on July 07, 2009, 06:40:55 PM
I really, need prayer for my Oldest neice Teresea. She has been ill since Sat. I guess she has had some of these problems before, and never told us about them. She has various things going on. They are going to give her a Cat Scan. She has lost 10lbs in a week. I know, she has throid problems and a goiter. But other odd things are going on in the stomach area.  I know, this is really  not good. She works for a hospital and she never misses work. The girl never complains about anything.

She is my neice who lives with my paralyzed sister and takes care of her needs in the evening and Weekends. I know, my Sister if upset over her.
I am concerned for them both. I know, you all will send out prayers for her.

In His Love,
Marlene

Thanks, for your prayers all. We are playing waiting game. As, soon as I find out anything I will let you all know. But, my sister told my Mother that she has lost 30 lbs in not a very long period of time. She has not been trying . But, I wonder if she is not under some stress from her work and taking care of my Sister. She does all the shopping and paying bills and things. Cooks. I am going to just be patient and wait on the report. God is in control. I hate it for my Sister cause I am sure she is wondering about her. She never complains or tells you much about herself or feelings. But, I do know the 10 lbs has been lost in a week. When, the other come off I have no idea. Mom kept telling me she was loosing alot of weight. I have not seen her as much as my Mother. I just talk to her on the phone most of the time.

Well, I told my family you all are praying. I know, that makes them feel better.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello All, I need prayers again for my Sister, and Teresea and all of us. My Sister got a call about Teresea. She went to work today. But, her Doctor just called and said, " they found something in the cat scan". They are getting her into a specialist today. My Sister is a mess. She is the daughter she had from a rape. She has been a light to our lives. I am concerned this may cause her to have a stroke. She has not eaten a thing for 6 days.

I do not have any more news then this. But, it does not sound good.  She took on the care of my Sister about 4 years ago after her stroke.

I am heart sick. She lived with me 11 years. My Mother is so upset also she is 88.

I will keep you all informed.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello, I have an update on Teresea. She is having a colonoscopy this coming Wed. I have no idea why the delay. But, I suppose you have to wait sometimes. I know, they found out she is an anemia.  So, just keep her in prayer. He wants to go up and see what it is he is seeing. My sister said, "That
Teresea is her normal calm self.

I can remember when she was a little girl and she was running through the house out the door with her doll. She went through the glass door and had her arm cut bad. They took her for stiches and she told the doctor, I have, had a bad day, but Jesus had a time way worse then mine. She has always been such a delight to our family. A bad situation turned Good.

In His Love,
Marlene

Matty, Thanks for your kind words. She has always had a head on her shoulders. I admire her so much. She has often given me good advice. I hope someday she can come in and meet you all. I have told her about many of you. Her and I have always been close. I am just praying this all works out for her . I will let you all know as soon as I know.  I have to tell you I never had children, but I feel she is my daughter.

George, thank you. You are a very kind Brother in Christ. You have helped me many times.

I thank all for your continued prayers. I have been blessed by all of you.

Well, folks here is an update. It was quite a night last night. Teresea was to have her colon test today. My Husband took her to ER last night. She could not keep down the stuff she had to drink for it. Then she got in severe stomach pain. They got that under control. They did not let her out till 6 this morning. So, they  have something new they are going to try and use to replace it. She was dehydrated. So, the helped that . Her blood pressure was really high from the pain. But, it came back down with pain medication. She does not have high blood pressure hers is usually on low side.

So, it has postponed the test till the followingFriday. They need to get her built back up some. She has been having some tachacardia with it at times.
It is very important for her to have this test as they see something on the cat scan. She has not eaten hardly anything for 9 days. A few crackers and some tomato soup that is about it. Just, pray that she will be able to get the test done next week.

My Husband, took her over cause my Sister had the stroke and is paraylzed and can no longer drive.

He did not want me to do it cause I just passed a kidney stone and am still having trouble with maybe another one coming. I have stones in both kidneys. I go to my urlogist Friday. He had test run on my kidneys and I see him Friday. When, it rains it pours but I am dealing ok with things. I just hate when it is someone I love who is ill. I am pretty use to it.

Well, just wanted to let you know the update. I thought this would be over today and we would know something.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello All, I have waited to say anymore about this. My Neice , still does not know what is going on with her. The first colonscopy they were not able to do because she could not hold down the medication to clear her out. The second one scheduled last week with new stuff did nothing to clear her out. She is scheduled tomorrow and they are trying something without those medications. We are all just worned down from this. She is too. They have her on all clear liquids only no food. They are going to try it this coming Wed. Pray that they will be able to do this. She really needs to find out what this is. This is really hard on my sister who she takes care of.  He said," He may only get into half of the colon, but he really needs to. I pray that tomorrow works. This has been a rough few week. We are all starting to loose our patience. She is still loosing weight.

I have great concern for my great nephew who is only 4. He was hit my his step father a few months back. He was in jail for this and is on probabtion. My great nephews real father has been making him stay for almost a week ever other week. He is not adapting well. I am so concerned with him. He has been lashing out with very bad mood swings. He does not want to go to his Fathers. He wants to stay with either My neice and sister or with me and my Husb and. I kept him all night Sat. night. He slept with me and I could hear him grinding his teeth. His Mother is very imature and had him when she was 17. She is married to a man way older then her. His real Father, is 25 very imature. He cried for days wanting to come home and he would not let him. Just, pray for Ethan's well being. I may have him while she works tomorrow night. I just wish that they all would think about him and not themselves.

This has been a very hard three weeks in many ways. I tell you I am concerned this child may crack up.

In His Love,
Marlene

I hope it all goes well.  I pray for your dear mother too.  I know how worrisome it is seeing an elderly parent fret.

Hello I want to thank all of you who are praying for Teresea and my other family members. Now, I know why God let me experience the last serious illness I faced three years ago. It was to bring me here, he used it. I know, that he has a purpose for what is going on now. He is also, using here to strength me for my entire family.

Last, night alone he let me get out all of my emotions. I have memory's of Teresea because she lived with my family for most of her life. Then lived with me for 11 years after my Father's death. She is a child from a rape. I know, that none of us are perfect yet. But, when he made her he made it really close.
She is being strong for her Mother. What, I wanted to let you all know is last night I was able to sleep and you all know I have a painful life. Not saying there is totally no pain but I can bare this pain.

But, while in the shower God came to me. He asked, Can I walk on water" I said, yes Lord." Then, he asked can I move mountains. I said " Yes, Lord"  Well, he has moved several mountains in my life. The one he moved while I was in what should have been my death...He kept me conscious to watch him move it.
Normally, I would have been anxiety ridden, but I was not. Then, he moved a bigger mountain. He brought me in here. Now, I see how he can take any mountain and move it and make something good out of it. Well, this again is a mountain. But, I know no matter the outcome this mountain can and will be moved for his good purpose. Our, mountain may not alwasy seem like it is good at the time. But, I am going to wait to see what good will come from all this.

She will be operated on around 1. My Sister needs her because she is paralyzed on left side. But, God is greater then this mountain. There is nothing more important to me in life then my family and never has been. But, God is more important then all of this. He gives us people to love. So, we can become like him. He even shows us how it feels to give up our love ones or to watch them suffer like his Son Jesus did. This may become a big battle but We are not alone.

I thank God for all of you. Some, I have seen by pictures. But, all I have seen by words. These words of comfort that we share are all from God. I would not trade this family for anything this world has to offer.

I will let you all know as soon as I am able to get home. When, it comes to my family I feel weak. But, thanks to God I am not.

In His Love,
Marlene

our Dear Heavenly Father, i pray for our beloved sister marlene right now as i sit here typing these words. Father i ask you to cover marlene in your mercy, grace, and lovingkindness. I pray for her niece teresa and ask you Father to heal the mass in her colon. Father You knew it was there, and You caused it to be brought to light. i pray that teresa's body will be strenghtened by Your power and might, and i pray that You will strengthen her faith in You, as You also strengthen the bond this family has for each other. i pray that You in Your infinite wisdom and grace will use this situation to rebuild the bond between marlene and her brother. i pray Father for teresa's mother as she suffers physically and emotionally, that You will infuse her with your peace. Father i pray for little ethan that you will use marlene and her loving husband to swathe little ethan in love and care, as well as their being a rock of strength for this young child. Dear Abba Father, i lift our sister marlene to You specifically. i ask You to continue the Good Work which You have wrought in her. continue to build her faith and confidence in You alone Father. she suffers in her body, but Father i pray that Jesus Christ, our Lord and Elder Brother will heal marlene so that she will have the physical strength to carry the burdens which are upon on at this time. Dear Father it is so awesome to consider that You knew all along that marlene would be called out of babylon, and that she would come to this forum family, Your family, to uplift and inspire us even through her tribulations. also Father, i ask that you hold up marlene's dear mother, so that this dear woman can endure the pain she feels for her children and her grandchildren. You are our all-knowing and all-loving Father and we are ASSURED we will not be left as orphans in these storms that we all face daily. i thank you Almighty God for Your faithfulness to all who believe in Your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. in His name i offer this prayer, that all will be according to Your will. amen and amen.

Hello All! I wish I could tell you I have good news. She is through the surgery and will be there 6 to 7 days. He removed the tumour in the colon. If, he had not done this it would have ruptured. He did not have to put a bag in her side as it was in high intestines. The bad news is that it was cancer. The worse news is that it has entered the liver and pancrease. He said," it is a rare cancer very aggresive and it must be some kind of genetic type. So, this could have come from the mans side. You how know how her birth came about. The doctor said that being she is only 35 this will be really hard to cure. She might be able to try and experimental type chemo.

God has given me almost a pain free day. I was able to be comfort to all my family. Although, it is hardest day of my entire life. Especially, with my Sister so in need of her. I wish you could all know Teresea . Her boss told our family she is the best worker she ever had. She had been promoted three times at the hospital. She is showered with love and attention of all her co-workers. Of, all her family. She use to go throughout the hospital sharing her cheerfulness. All, kinds of people told us how she has touched her life. She has never held a grudge towards anyone. I am so bless god gave her to us. My Sister said,"out of a bad situation came the best thing in my life."

Teresea has beautiful creamy complexion with rosy cheeks and that is how she looked when we saw her before sugery. She was sitting there making out her medication for her little sister to handle for her. She was not worried nor did she think of herself.
She looked just beautiful.

Well, I have to tell you, I am not giving up. God can walk on water. God can move mountains. He can do as he pleases. I am going to just keep praying, but I know it is all his decision. But, I am going to trust he knows best.

I do not know what I would do with out you all.  We have alot of work ahead of us. Just keep us all in prayer that we can meet there needs.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hi All, Thanks for the prayers. Today, we talked to the Doctor. He put a port in her when he did surgery in case she wanted to have chemo. She is only 35. She has about half a baseball size tumor in her liver and a walnut size in her pancrease. She knows, and she was very brave. But, she is so drugged up for pain.

Now, if I look at all of this in the Doctors view it is not good. But, he told us he works for God. So, he belives there can be good things happen. He saved her life for now from a rupture colon. He said," it was a difficult surgery". It is all in Gods hands. But, he has to be honest with us. She is young and sometimes this is harder to treat. It is an aggresive cancer. In my opinion a miracle is needed.

I am keeping the faith. God knows what is best .

But, I love you all more then words can say. I need you all. When, God brought me in here he had more than one good purpose.

In His Love,
Marlene

I am keeping the faith. God knows what is best .
When, God brought me in here he had more than one good purpose.

marlene,
the statements i noted are some of what stood out to me in your update on teresa.

your honesty that "if" you look at all of this in the doctors view, it is not good, shouts the spiritual FACT that only God is Good, and it is to Him that we are to look.

that you are keeping the faith and that God knows what is best, is the confirmation that even specialty trained physicians can't know what is truly best for their patients without God's giving them the vision of care for any particular patient.

and without really being aware of it, you saved the best for last, that when God brought you here (to BT) He had more than one good purpose. creating you into His image is His plan and purpose for your life, as well as the plan for each who believe in the True Gospel of Jesus Christ. and, as He does this for you and for us, we become as shining lights to those around us. our family and our households, our friends, and even to strangers when we reflect His Light in love and compassion. you are the light for teresa, your husband, your mother, your sister, your brother, little ethan, and everyone else you meet.

we are uplifted by your testimony marlene, even as you are confronted time and again with the mountains and floods that press in on you and your family.

continue to stand strong in that faith that Father God has given to you, and look to our Brother Jesus Christ for strength when you are weak, for peace when you feel like you are losing your mind, for patience when you feel like you cannot take it anymore. we are your Spiritual family and we love you with the love of our Heavenly Father and our Dear Savior Jesus Christ.

i will lift teresa, you, and your family in prayer marlene. you are such an inspiration to me. as brenda said in her post, that i am in awe that you can post the news of teresa and still be able to strengthen my faith in moving of mountains.

Hello , Just wanted to let you know that Teresea is not doing so good since the operation. She had to have two units of blood last night and her heart has been going to fast. Today, they had to give her blood pressure medication. Also, the tube they give her to pull out the bile came loose and had to be inserted back into her nose and throat. They tried to give her something to make her bowel start moving again and she vomited it up. I guess your throat gets so sore and it hurts when they put the tube back in. It was put in while she was out for surgery. This time she was awake.

She is very moody with her Mom and Sister. I did not get to go over. My Husband and I went to there home to do some things for Teresea.

The Doctor saw her today and I have no idea what he said to her.  All, I know is she told My Sister I wish this was over. I am not sure how she meant it.

I know, you are all praying.  I just wanted to update you on her. This is breaking my Heart.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hi All, I have to tell you so many things are going on.  The other night I asked God to help my disability to come in . I had been fighting it for about three years. I said, God I need my money so I can help Teresea. Just, please help me get it so she can be taken for her chemo and help with other needs she may have.

Well, yesterday I received a letter that I had been approved and do not even need a hearing. I am very limited of how I can help. But, he provided the money so I can see that she can get to her chemo treatments. God moved this mountain so I could be of help that way. She takes care of her Mother who is paralyzed from a stroke.

Today, when we went over she has had the nose and throat tube removed. She is on soft foods now. She is able to drink again. Her blood pressure and heart is doing better since the blood tranfusions. She will probably get to go home on Thursday or Friday if all goes well. She has to get built back up before having the chemo.

Keep up the prayers that the chemo will reduce the tumor in the liver and pancreas. She is still in danger.  I pray with all my heart that God will remove this mountain too. But, I know it is all in his will.

I just praise God that I have my disability for my health needs and can help her if thse needs some extra things or help . I know, my husband will be taking her for her chemos. I will more then likely go along . But, often my health holds me back.

I just wanted to let you know, that God blessed me when he met this need so quickly.

All Praise Be To God!  We may not always get our wants. But, he always give us our needs.

In His Love,
Marlene

marlene,
everytime i hear of our Father's blessings of provision in our lives, i just sit amazed at His Perfect timing. He never ever leaves us alone, especially in our times of need. i give thanks along with you for our Father's providing your disability benefits. i know what a true blessing it is to give of what we have to those in need. your desire to help teresa in her time of need is a mirror into your heart, and it is there that His Spirit resides. i pray that our Father will continue to heal teresa in any and all ways that He will use for His good purpose in her life. maybe if you could print our posts to your prayer requests for teresa, it would be another remedy of healing for her soul, and beneficial for her health. i continue to pray that our Abba Father will comfort you in body, mind, soul, and spirit, and that He will comfort your dear mother, sisters, husband, nieces, and nephews. i lift your little ethan also marlene that our Father will protect him and bring healing to his mind and soul through your love and support of this dear little child.

Claudia, Thanks so much for your prayer. It is a comfort to me when my forum Brothers and Sisters pray for me and my family members. Yes, I will share these posts with her. I hope that she gets well and can come in here and meet many of you. I thank you all for your kind words and prayers of comfort for all of us.

Steve Meacham called me last night. It was so nice to hear a voice. He is such a kind man.

If, all is well tomorrow Teresea will be coming home. It will take 6 weeks for her to heal from the surgery and build her body back up. They will be sending her to a oncologist sometime soon. She has been tired and so many people come in and visit. I am sure it will be nice to be home and have plenty of rest.

She knows, how I believe and has no problem with it.  She has not been going to organized church for several years.

I just keep praying that God moves this mountain. I am sure he has a good purpose for this mountain. We just do not see it yet.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello, Teresea got to leave the hospital today. She is staying with me tonight. She is kind of antsy so she wanted to stay with me. She might stay with me for a few more days. Whatever, she wants I want. She is kind of nervous like so she wanted to be with me. She goes back to the Doctor in two weeks.
I imgaine she will know more then. She gets her staples out then. Since, my younger niece stays with my sister at night with her oldest child. I think Teresea feels better being here to recover some.

I just keep praying god will move this mountain for her and her Mother. Well, of course I want it too.

I am so blessed to have her with me right now.

In His Love,
Marlene

marlene,
i am glad that teresa is staying with you for now. please tell her that we are all praying for her. you will be the beginning of her remedy for healing, because you have the Light in your heart which teresa needs to see. you can even relay to her the story of our brother ray, and his journey as he endures the cancer that has tried to destroy him. but of course, our Father has sustained ray in body, mind, and spirit. and our Father loves teresa as much as He loves anyone of us. i will continue to pray for her peace of mind, and for her body to grow stronger so that she is able to endure the treatments for her cancer. i will also pray for you marlene, that you will be strong as He is strong.

Thanks everyone. I do not know what I would do without all of you. I have already shared many things with her before we found out about her cancer. I am sure in time to come this will all be a comfort to her. She is so sweet and kind. I am just letting her do her thing. Maybe when she is feeling better I can share some of Ray's articles with her that I have copied.

I have told her some about Ray's condition. I believe she is taking one day at a time. That is really the way we should live our life. Cause each day has enough problems for us. But, also it has joy for us. I think that Teresea feels safe with me and my Husband. She lived with us for 11 years. Don has been like a father to her.  I cannot even get over how God has blessed me with such a wonderful husband . I thank him every day. God has been so good to me .
The night, he led me to his truths was the best gift anyone can receive.  We are all blessed to have been shown the truths of God. I am being even more blessed by seeing that God looks after me and my family.I have been very blessed to have all of you for family. Your comfort to me is beyond words.

I am so glad I have a place too share my trials. You all will be very important to me in months to come. I thank God for you all each day and that I can come in here. That, I know someday all this pain will be over and we will all be together.

In His Love,
Marlene

Marlene, I am just reading all of this now. Your faith is taking on that mountain. You are an inspiration and I am asking God to honor your faith with all good things for your family. The little boy touched me and how much good you could do for him. Teresa will be in my prayers and it is easy to remember her name as my oldest is named Theresa only with an H. Just keep doing what you are doing, it is a good work. We are here to help you move that mountain with our prayers. Love, Judy

I, know I am leaning on you all alot. But, Teresea has not been eating or drinking. She had to go to ER and she was dehydrated. She is nausated all the time. I think , it is because she is not eating. I have tried all kinds of different things.

I am making her home made chicken and noodles and hope this will help. I really think until she starts eating she will be this way. The med for nausea is really not helping much. I am really concerned about her. Just, keep this in your prayers.

I just keep reminding myself God is with me and her and all my family.

Thanks for the prayers. Last, night she was back in ER. They finally did what I thought they should have days ago. She is keeping some food down today and liquids. She is not eating lots but keeping something on the stomach and drinking now. I know, she is happy to be with me. She is able to sleep and get good food and we even talk and she seems in good Spirits for being ill. I just let her do her thing. I get to Mother her and that is what I love. She knows , my believe that God is Saviour of the World.

She never has worried about everything. She also, knows that we cannot change anything, but believes God can if it is his will. She is very brave and kind and sweet. It brings so many memories back of all the times we have shared when she lived with me. My younger, niece is learning to take care of her Mother and being a better person for it. I even had a chance to tell her some about how God works. She seems to like to be near to me.

Last, night I just leaned on God with all my being. I know, he will carrying me through this hard trial for all of us. He has blessed me so much since coming in here. Knowing, that I can walk through this storm with him is a great comfort to me.

I have no idea how all this will come out. But, I know everything will be ok.

In His Love,
Marlene

Marlene  read that book i sent you and get her on raw juices and no white sugar or meats ect.  white sugar feeds cancer cells  your family is in our prayer God bless.  please study what Ray is doing to get better you can do the same.

Peggy, She rarely ever ate Meat. She does not like it. She has never been a big sugar person either. Right now she is only allowed soft foods and foods that do not cause lots of gas due to the fact she had a bowel obstruction and can't except those kinds of foods. We have a store that sells raw milk and juices and no hormone or antibiotics meats. If, she eats any meat it is some turkey or chicken.

She has never smoked or drank. She has never had physical relationships.  She has never had to take medications cause she has never been ill.
She is not a diabetic or ever had high blood pressure. I know of many vegetarians who have had cancer and died. I am not saying lots of our foods are not unhealthy. In order to do many of the things Ray is doing it takes lots of money. She takes care of her Mother who has had a stroke. She works for a hosptial. It takes most of what she makes to take care of them. The way I see it this is all in God's hands.

If, she had not had the tumor removed from her colon she would have died instantly because it would have ruptured. Ohio, is in deep recession just like other states. We have few farms in this state anymore. She tries to eat fresh fruits. I believe, this is an act of God for some purpose.

What, I would like to know is this. Why, do some live such horrible life styles and never have cancer. Some have cancer and survive and others do there best with diet and die.  I believe, it is God. I agree to take care of our self is a good thing. But, even that God is in control of.

My Mother has lived on meat, eggs, fruit and vegetables. Never, smoked or drank. Very moral life. She is 88 years old and has little health problems.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello, Just a quick up date on Teresea. She had her staples removed on Thursday. The surgery is looking good. She sees an oncologist this Tuesday. I believe it will be a couple more weeks or so before they start chemo. The Doctor who did the surgery said, That the top part of her bowel did not have any air going to it. It could have perforated.  God was watching out for her good.

She is starting to eat better and getting stronger every day. Just, keep her in prayer. I am praying that God removes the tumor in the liver and pancrease or lets the chemo do the work.

He told her that 12 hours after her surgery he ran into another case similar to hers. It was a younger person too.

He also, told her he had a 12 year old with colon cancer. I guess her Mother had colon cancer too. So it can be genetics.

I think she is going to go back to take care of her Mother sometime this week. I believe the younger girl will stay some like she has been.

Teresea is hoping to go back to work by the 17th of Sept.

I will let you know more about what the oncologist says.

In His Love,
Marlene

Thanks for the prayers, she is not out of the woods yet.

Hello, A new update on Teresea. She stayed with me for three weeks. She went back to her home and with her Mother who she takes care of. She has a lot coming up she has to have a pet scan of her entire body, a MRI of the brain.  Those will be done Sept. 10 and 11. She goes to have the chemo port surgery on Sept 14 and goes back to oncologist the 15 . She hopes to return to work  on the 15th. She will find out when the chemo starts when she sees the oncologist on the 15th. Pray that she can return to work cause she has used alot of her disability and they really need her income. I just pray she can work even though she will be having chemo. She will have 12 treatments  in a 6 month period.

She seems in good spirit even though she knows it is not good in many ways. I keep praying that God shrinks the tumors or removes them. Some days I handle it ok and some days I get down. But, I never let her know it. I have not been able to read much in here or the Bible. I try and pray and sometimes I just dont know what to say. I am not well myself and this is hard. But, I try and help them out and my Husband is great but he has to work too. This, is exactly why God brought me in when he did. He knew I was going to need the truth and also all of you.

I just hope I can get into my studying the Bible some like before. I also, hope I can pray better. Sometimes, I just feel like I cannot stand it if something happens to her. I know, many of you are going thorugh the same things. Just, wanted to tell you all how I feel. I need someone to voice this too. Just needed to let off some steam.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hi Marlene,

This is certainly the best place to let off steam. I'm sure there are folk here who understand what you are going through, and our Lord certainly does.
My wife has had cancer, including three lots of surgery, radio, chemo, and continuing medication, but I wouldn't even compare it to what you are going through because I am healthy myself, thank God.

I'm praying that God will carry through this very difficult time Marlene, and also give strength to your husband. Praying also for Teresea, that she will be able to go back to work whilst having the chemo, and that the chemo will work.

Hello, To update about Teresea. She had the MRI of the Brain. It is fine. She had the pet scan. Nothing new we did not know. Cancer in liver and pancreas.
She is mantaining her weight since they removed the colon tumor. I imagine that is why she was loosing weight. She will begin her chemo  next week. As, far as I know she will start back to work possibly tomorrow.

She is very brave and sweet as her normal self. She tells me she takes one day at a time. She told me that is how she has always lived. Today, she said, I really never have been much on making plans. Its so odd that my 35 year old niece can make me look at things different.  I am thankful that God does not let us know what is always coming to us. That, is very kind of him I think. He really does not want us to worry. We really don't know if we will make it through a day.

I just want to make the most of the time I am able to spend around her. If, she feels ill and wants me I will be there. If , she needs me and feels well I will be there. This is all in Gods hands and his decision is right. She is not bitter or angry. She is so in love with her little nephew Ethan who has really needed her in his life. He is 4. She has set up her chemo time so she hopefully will be well enough to see him when he is not at his Father's for the weekend.

She knowsyou are all praying and thinks you all are so wonderful. She likes what Ray has taught us. Maybe sometime she can come in and drop you all a note. She has been having some trouble with her computer. We are going to have it checked out for her.

Well, again I love you all and need each and every one of you. I think of all my Brothers and Sisters going through trials and the others who pray. God picked the perfect time to bring me here to his wonderful truths, that he has showed our Dear Brother Ray.  Someday, we will all be together and all the trials here will just vanish.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello, Thank you for your kind words Judy. I know God is holding me up. This is one of the hardest things I have had to face. I can deal when it is me. But, when it is someone I love now that is so hard. But, it is great joy that God has decided to share his truths with me. I know, his timing is perfect even when it seems not like anything I would have choose.

Teresea, had her first three days of chemo treatment last Wed. Thurs. and Friday. This is the first set. She has to go three times a week every other week for 6 months. They give her a shot of nutrition and something to help her cell count.

Praise God she has not had any nausea. She is back at work today for the first time since her surgery eight weeks ago. She works at womens health at the hospital. I just talked to her on the phone to see how it is going. It is going good. She seemed upbeat. I still do not know what is going to be God's will on this. Having cancer in colon that has gone to the liver and pancrease sounds impossible. But, I pray that the tumor in the colon alerted them in time that the liver and pancreas is not to severe. I have no doubt in my mind that God can heal her. I just don't know his will in all of this.

God has blessed me that even with all the pain in my body, I have been able to go out and shop for clothes with her. I have got to spend some beautiful moments with her. She mainly thinks of her Mother who needs her and my nephew Ethan. I think of Teresea and not myself. She is like my daughter. You all know the story.

I am not ashamed to say sometimes I cry. I am not angry at God. I am not saying I like this. But, it is what it is. I have a wonderful Husband who  is there for all of my family as well as me. I am blessed by God even during this trial.

I am not keeping you updated just because of Me.  I am doing this in hope that anyone who is going through trials can see how God is working in our life.
He is never away from us. If, anyone goes away it is us. I wish, I could express how much I love all of you. For, a while I had not been able to read much of Ray's papers or my Bible. But, my one on one time with God is almost constant. I know, that I am still growing in Christ. This experience is part of that.

Just, wanted to let you all know that I love you. God has given me so many blessings even while I receive the trials. I cry, but those tears make me strong.
I no longer want to run. There is no where to run to but to God.

I believe like Ray. Any healing that Teresea receives is all from God not from chemo or nutrition.

I do not know what trials all of you are going through. But, keep the faith. God still loves us even when we are angry, hurt, or wonder why? The why in our life will always be answered after we go through the storm. Someday, I will know why we are going through this.

God made some strong women coming out of our family. My Mother is 88 and she has been shopping with my niece and buying her things she needs. This has been real hard on my Mother, but I see her strength. I know, it comes from God.

Well, God Bless you all and he will keep you.

In His Love,
Marlene

That's how I used to be... run away from pain as fast as my two little feet would take me; call me a "coward". Little did I know that my pile of "baggage" accompanied me wherever I went, meaning I would have to go around the mountain one more time.
Now, I stay put and let God do what he needs to do while facing my pain head on... I surrendered and am surrendering. It's hard for me because I am a stubborn German  :D.

Just, thought I would let you all know. Teresea has done good since her first chemo. Today she saw her oncologist and she was happy that her hemoglobin
raised 3 points so she will not have to have a shot to raise it. The shot cost 5,000 dollars. So, tomorrow she starts her second round of chemo cause all blood work was good. This is just the start. Many people are praying for her. It looks like God is answering prayers. I have been praying her blood work stays good and that she does not get so ill she cannot work. Her and my sister really need her income.

Also, I am praying for a healing. I know cancer is nothing when God is in charge. The situtation does not look good, but I know if it is his will she can survive this.

Thanks, to all who are praying for her.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello, Another update on Teresea. She had her chemo last week. Today, they did blood work. Her hemoglobin is up another point. No need for the shot. She is up beat and working everyday so far. Not saying things could not change the more she gets. But, I talked to her today and she mentioned she read an article about a lady who had cancer 5 times and is still alive. How, she would exercise her body and that helps alot with blood counts. So, she is going to start that too. Her doctor told her mental attitude is helping her alot. She told me she is not depressed. Of, course once in a while all the stuff she has to do seems to be alot. She is only a little tired.

The reason, I keep you all updated is to help strength others who may be going through the same things themselves or for there family who goes through it too.

I found out today my Sister who Teresea takes care of has pneuomia. This is hard on her since she had the stroke. But, they never complain.

I don't know what the will of God is for them , but I do know he is with us all and helping us get through this.

God is giving me peace. I take my walk with God serious. Just, because I have  trials and they are many is not a reason to walk away or give up on him. He is with us all the time.

If, you feel led say a prayer for my Sister.

I pray for all my family here cause there are trials of different kinds.

Hello, this kind of goes in with some of my trials. But, a while back I told you about my 4 year old nephew Ethan who is living with a step father who is abusive and is teaching him to demean his Mother.  But, it is not just that either. His real Father who keeps him every other weekend is not a good Father. The last time I kept Ethan he was all mixed up and was so angry and took it out on every one in his sight.

I had talked to his Mother that I was not well enough to handle this. I told her she needed to get help for him. But, for some reason she refuses to acknowlege that she is self-centered and putting these men above her children.

Well, I found out from Teresea that his Dad had been picked up for drinking. He could have been with himbut he was with the  Fathers Mother. He wrecked his Mothers car. He is a 25 year old Man. My niece is 22.  Thank God he was not with him. Also, his real Fathers family all drink. This child is seeing alot of bad things. I do mean bad. I pray that she opens her eyes before something bad happens. She needs to stay away from these men. She is mad at me and I am sure she will not talk to me.

He is always telling Teresea he wants to live with her. You all know , that she has cancer. She would love to have him , but now is not well.

I know God Loves children and wondered if you will pray for him. I hope it is Gods will that she gets well.

My niece got mad at me cause I told her she is not thinking of her children. I know there could be some major fall out from all of this.

I know you will all pray for this situation. There are days I wonder how much more we can take. But, it is him I am concerned for.

In His Love,
Marlene

i will continue to pray for your little ethan. his personal safety is indeed a concern.  i hope that teresa will continue to be a safe haven to ethan, and that you and your husband, and mother, will all continue to be concerned in his little life and watch out for him in everything. please Heavenly Father, protect this little child from becoming a tragedy to those who love him. and i ask Father that You strengthen marlene, teresa, and all in this dear family, so they may endure these seasons of pain and suffering.  and give us all endurance to travel through Your Will for our lives.  in Jesus' Holy Name, amen.

Praying for little Ethan, Marlene, that God will protect him from these experiences and he won't grow up with 'scar tissue' from what he is seeing now.
Also praying for your sister and Teresea, and the relationships in your family, that God will work in their hearts and they will see the error of their ways.

Hi,  Wanted to ask you all to pray for Teresea. Her platelets are too low this week to do chemo. So, they will have to do it next week. The platelets have to raise though. She is still working every day and in good cheer. After, she has a few more chemos they will see if it is working. If, not the Doctor said, "They have some other kinds to try." She states that if , it is Gods will she will be healed. If, not his plan is still right.

I praise God she is able to work and take care of my Sister when not working. Also, she has a good attitude and they think she would be great to talk to some of them having trouble dealing. Well, she has a lot longer to deal with this. I am sure there will be more times her platelets may go low. But, God is in control and she believes if God wants a healing he is able.

Thank you all who write and all who silentely pray.

Each day God gives me more peace. I can tell you before coming in here I had no peace. Now, that I know the truths of God he has given me peace. Not saying it is easy. But, it is all in his hands. I pray that Teresea can get well and join us all in here. I pray you will be there for Ethan.

In His Love,
Marlene

Good News! Her platlets are up so she is having her chemo. They want to get through two more cycles so they can check and see if the chemo is starting to work. If, not they can try other things. They also, have new things they can do like heat of some sort into the tumors. It helps them get more oxygen directly into the cancer.

We are just playing the waiting game. But, she is still working every day cheerful and thankful for all who pray. God is truely blessing us and her so that she can work and keep her and my Sister in a place to live.

Thanks everyone.

Marlene

marlene,
i am happy for your teresa that her platelet counts are up.  i pray that our Father will have mercy on teresa's body as it processes the chemo drugs.  i also pray that Father God will continue to strengthen teresa's body, mind, and soul as she continues on this path.  Dear Father, teresa, or someone else, needs to be able to financially support this family.  please show Your mercy to them in this, and all things pertaining to their lives.

Thank You Abba Father for your continued provisions being given to all Your children.
in Jesus' Name, amen and amen.

claudia

ps.  to me, teresa is another example of 'frame and attitude of mind' being so vitally important when one's body is having to deal with traumatic and terminal diseases.

Hi all. Teresea finally got to go through enough cycles of chemo, that they can do a pet scan Friday Nov. 20th.  They want to see if the chemo is helping, if not they can decide on another one to try. He weight is remaining pretty steady. She has worked over 2months now without missing a day even during her treatments.

I have been blessed that my pain levels have been better then usual. Last Satuday I got to go to the mall with her. Has been ages since I have been out with her for the day. We had a great time. Lots of laughs.

Nov. 20 th is my Mothers 89 Birthday and Teresea has not told her about the pet scan.

Just keep us in prayer because the waiting is hard.

Thanks again for all the prayers and love showed to me and my family.

In His Love,
Marlene

marlene,
i too am glad you enjoyed shopping with teresa. after recently dealing with all that went along with my sister's, and her hubbie's, motorcycle wreck i am reminded many times during my days how absolutely NOTHING is to be taken for granted.  nothing. life truly is like a mist and is here today and gone tomorrow.  but, that is okay.  it must be, because that is of God's plan and purpose.

hugs to teresa for her determination to put one foot in front of the other, and get on with living.    8)

Hello, Update on Teresea. She had her pet scan today to see if her chemo is working. We thought, that we would not know anything till this coming Tuesday when she sees her oncologist. Well, she called Teresea at home but she was gone to the store. So, she gave the news to my Sister. My Sister then called all of us crying. I answered the phone. I thought, something was wrong. My Sister was happy to relay the message that the chemo is working.
I know, she still has a battle, but just knowing the one they selected is working after 4 treatments gives us hope. She is still working every day. She gets tired but gets plenty of rest and eats healthy. Hemoglobin was down but they give her a shot next week for that. The Doctor said, she could not wait to tell her the good news so Teresea could enjoy her thanksgiving and the rest of us. I know, it is God doing the work.

Now, I want to tell you all something. Teresea is very interested in reading Ray's articles. I am going to make her copies. Also, she never liked the way the church taught on Revelations. She always hated when my cousin and I talked that stuff when she was a little girl. Last, night I was talking to God. I told him I knew whatever he decides is in his will. Of, course I would like her to live. Teresea said, herself that it is all Gods business.  I did not ask God for a sign, but I feel deep within me that God wants her to learn these truths. I told God I just cannot get that out of my head. So, I prayed if it is his will that she be given time to learn these truths . I don't  know if all this will continue, but I do have hope.

She told me she wants to come in here and thank you all for the prayers.  She told me this before she found out about her report a few weeks back.

God has answered many prayers for me like getting my disability settled so I could help her and my Sister. God is keeping her working so she can keep a roof over her and my paralyzed sister. God has blessed us in so many ways even while going through this trial. I am learning to trust and wait on him and even learning that if he would take her we would all still be ok. The surgeon did not give us much hope at all.

I thank God every day for Ray, and all of you Brothers and Sisters who have prayed . Not, just the ones who have told me they pray, but the ones I just know are praying.  I have found a true family in here.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hi, I have to let you all know this. Teresea saw her oncologist today for her checkup. Her oncologist took her report from the pet scan for another Doctor to look at. He was shocked as the lady Doctor. The tumor in the liver is gone and almost gone in the pancreas. She has only had 4 treatments. They were all excited. The plan is for a total of 12 treatments. Teresea is having lots of tiredness and some low hemoglobin they gave her a shot to raise it. Her white blood count is very low . All, this is part of the treatment. Please keep her in your prayers that the pancreas will leave and that she will be on her way to no cancer. I believe all this is a pure act of God.  I know you all will continue to pray for her. We will be having Thanksgiving Dinner over at her home. I am making the dinner. Keep her prayers for her strength and that she can eat more.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hi , All. Just, wanted to let you know that last week was rough on Teresea. She missed work most of the week.  For some reason her hemoglobin dropped very low. They put her in the hospital for two days and had to give her 4r units of blood. She did not have chemo that week because it was not her time.

We were concerned that she might not be able to have it this week. She found out today that her hemoglobin is back up to a 10.7. It has not been that high since her surgery in July. This has went up 1.7 points since she got out of the hospital. They were very happy. Her white blood count is up and so her antibioties are working good. Her platlets were real good. She got to have chemo.

Her cancer went from a 14 to a 7 in 4 treatments. My Sister misquoted some of the last information to me. She had a stroke and sometimes does not understand. The tumor in pancrease is little over half gone. The tumor on the right lobe of the liver is gone. The one on left lobe is half gone.  They were so pleased that only 4 chemos has worked like this. Her liver and pancrease is function good. Her liver enzymes are excellent and no signs of problems there. So, many people have been praying for her. She is back to work this week and had chemo today and the rest tomorrow.

She is so grateful for all your prayers. She was pretty ill the week of thanksgiving. The cause of some of it was a womens thing which surprises them cause chemo usually causes you to become sterrile. So, that was why she had blood loss. Plus, she had problems with loose bowels and that did not help. This can happen with chemo.

Well, she did eat a little of thanksgiving food, but barely anything.

Again, thanks for prayers.  I have been stressed out trying to help out. I have not got online much but think of you all and try and keep in tune with Ray's articles, reading my Bible and prayer to God helps.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello everyone. Teresea is ill again. She is going to have to have a check to see where she is loosing blood. I do not know all the facts yet. She has been admited and her colonoscopy Doctor and Surgeon are going to run some test and check to see where the blood is coming from. Please, keep her and My Sister and family in prayers.

I will let you know something when we find out what is going on.

Hello, Well, they went down her throat and stomach with a scope. It was not a ulcer.
I wish that would have been what it is.

But, it has nothing to do with that. Her liver has been rerouting the blood to her heart. They said,"That this has nothing to do with the cancer other then the fact you loose some blood with it. But, she is loosing blood cause of the rerouting in the livers.

They are transporting her to a bigger hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Which, is about hour from us. They will do a procedure called the Tip Procedure. They will insert a shunt into the liver and this will return the blood the right way. This should stop the blood loss she has been having from it. The believe she had this all a long for a long time. It is a common thing in some people. Only, it has been made worse from her loss of hemoglobin from the chemo. They are putting her off work for a while so she can get good rest. She will be in the hospital for two days.

My family is very upset for her. Especially, my Sister who feels helpless. We are all helpless. Only, God is control of everything. In My Heart I do not believe that this is a negative thing. It could be a good thing in that it was found that she has a problem to begin with it. I always thought when she lived with me that she looked like she was low some on blood. She was always pale and her lips too. Teresea is still her cheery self.

I imagine Teresea is doing better then the rest of my family. God is giving me a peace,  now. I do not doubt that he is with her and with all of us. My Mother is having lots of problems with what God wants from this. But, I know it is all the process of being made in his image.

Not, saying I have not been concerned today. But, just praying that we all get through this. I know, I can count on you all to pray.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello, I wanted to let you all know something about Teresea. Well, they narrowed it down finally. She has varcies not sure if that is how they spell them. They are in the stomach. That, is why she has been bleeding. They are causes because she has a blood clot in her spleen.  They are thinking of removing the spleen or they may try something else. They say it is common when some one has cancer in the pancrease.

I am glad they found the cause of the blood loss. She is not looking forward to another surgery. They are checking out other alternatives. But, she cannot keep loosing blood. She is so wanting to come home to be with the family for the holidays. This time of year is when my Father passed away. We do not put much stock in the holidays. It is just a time we can all get together. But, I told her it is just another day and that we can all get together any day. She is more concerned about my 4 year old nephew who has it kind of rough. She is also concerned about my Sister with her bad health. She hates to tell her she might have to have her spleen removed. So, she is waiting till she gets more news. She kind of wants her younger Sister with her Mom when she is told
or probably us.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello All, Well, Teresea has her surgery to remove the spleen. The give her two shots to keep her from getting any of the things your spleen protects you from. He is hoping to doing a laposcopic. If , so she will be in there two days. If, the other way it will be 5 days.

She is anxious to get this over and move on with her life and get the rest of her chemo. She is cheerful and not afraid. She is peaceful. I thank, God he is with her and gives her peace. She knows, what I believe and she is looking forward to getting better and reading Ray's articles. She also, thanks all of you for your prayers. She feels really good that you people are the ones praying for her.

Well, when I get home tomorrow night I will let you know how  it all went. Her surgery is at 12:00 afternoon.

Once, again I thank God for Ray and all my Brothers and Sisters in Christ on the forum. What, a great family God has given me!

Hello All, Wow what a day. Finally Made it Home. They had to give her plasma to thicken her blood so it would clot. They had to give her transfusion. She had an alergic reaction to the plasma. Thank God they were able to take care of it. Her eyes were almost swollen closed. But, God is good and they helped her and were able to do the surgey. They got to do the lap surgery and removed the spleen. He said, that was what was causing the blood loss and the varcies in her stomach and that this should take care of the blood loss.

He said, she did really good. She seemed very good and able to talk to us. She was very cheerful.

It was a stressful day on my Sister and she kind of had a spell after we saw Teresea after the surgey. I think it was from the stress and emotions. I got her checked out and she seems fine now. I thank God that my Husband is so wonderful to me and all my family. Even, my 89 year old Mother went over to wait.

Things have not been normal here since July. I am finding that God is with us and no matter our age and health he is able to pick us up.

I have been able to talk to my family about the truths of God. I believe he is reaching them and that in these trials he is holding us all up. For when we are weak, he is strong.

Thank you all for the prayers. You are all a gift to me and my family from God.  Now, I hope Teresea can finish the chemo and it will continue to work as well as it has.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello All, We went over to the hospital and picked Teresea up. They removed her spleen and the blood is no longer being sent into her stomach and creating the varcies.

She is glad to be home. She has lots of brusies and hard to get up and down. But, she looks much better now. We are all going to spend time with each other New Years Eve and New Years Day.  We are looking for a good time together.

I thank God every day for my family. I thank God for all of you!

Just, pray that she can finish her chemo and it continues to work like it has so far.

Hi,  I just thought I would let you all know Teresea had her visit Monday with her oncologist. All, her blood work came back good. She is no longer loosing blood. She goes back to see the surgeon Jan 15th. She is looking forward to that so he will give the ok to start her chemo again.

The oncologist told her since the spleen caused the problem she will be able to continue with the chemo that has been working so well. What a relief to us all. First, God took care of her colon so it would not rupture. Now, he protected her from the spleen that was causing bleeding into her stomach.  Now she will be able to finish her chemo in a couple of weeks.

God blessed her by seeing she got more disabilithy from work so that she could take more time off. She had worked several months after surgery and chemo up till a couple of hospital stays . It makes me so happy she can take this terrible cold time off to heal and not have to be out in it since her chemo she takes causes you to hurt all over if you get cold.

I thank God and Teresea does to ! Even, though this trial has been long and has more time to go through. She has 7 more chemo and hopefully she can come through this good. God has spared her life twice now.

I thank God for all of you. I covet your prayers.

I can tell you that she has not felt sorry for herself. She worries over her Mother who needs her.

God , is good.  He is with us though this fiery trial.

In His Love,
Marlene

A quick update on Teresea. She has been back to work for a month now. She has been able to have two chemos in Feb. Her blood count is up highter then it was before her first surgery.

Her platelets have been good the last two times having chemo.

Her cancer cpa in her blood stream has went from a 14 to a 7 and now down to a 4. The best being a 2or 3.This happening even when she had not been able to have chemo right after her last surgery.

Her Spirits are good and she is such an inspiration to us.

I talked to my neighbor the other day. She lost her husband of cancer. She acted as if Teresea was going to die.
I told her that I believe if it is Gods will he can save anyone from cancer or any other disease.

When, all this first happened I felt hopeless to help her. I cannot give her a healing. But, I believe God has given me peace that he is going to heal her.
I see his hand on her and my family.  I have no doubt that God is a miracle worker.  I have seen in here testimony of those who have been healed from physical illness. I being, one he spared my life.  I have witnessed God working miracles in here, by giving us ears to hear and eyes to see. What, a gift from God to be given understanding.  Nothing, is more important in this life then to understand the operations of God.

Just want  to thank you all for continued prayers and will let you know. They will do another pet scan after her next chemo so they can stage it again.

I have peace that God is going to give her a Physical and Spiritual healing. I have shared many of the truths of God with her. She never gets upset about it. We are very close and have always been.

In His Love,
Marlene

Just, wanted to share with you some joy we have been given. This whole process since July has been many ups and downs. Teresea had two chemos but was not able to have the one this week. She became to dehydrated , potassium to low and other things. They worked on those things and decided to not do the next one yet.

They are going to check her blood results and make a decision to either do her next chemo or run the pet scan.

I have thought for sometime now they should have run the pet scan. I cannot get it out of my head that she is healed. I have such a peace in my heart. I have had for sometime now. I know, that peace comes from God.

She came over to see her Dog who I have been keeping since Sept. She looks fantastic. She has got a short haircut and she looks so young. She just turned 37  Feb.

But, this is so amazing. She shared with us that the hospital she works for and also has her cancer treatments with have decided to go with what the Insurance agrees to pay and has taken all other Bills she owes and decided to let them go. She told me yesterday that she knows that all came from God.  She is out getting some new clothes to wear since she has lost so much weight.  She is with My Mother who is 89 and my Sister and her care worker.

God has enabled me to help her in many ways and even with some money. I do not have alot of money, but God blessed me by getting my disability and I have always wanted to help those in need. God has always blessed  me with my needs. That, is all we really need. Not, saying he has never gave me some of my wants. But, I know it is our needs that is all he wants us to want. If, I have him in my Heart that is all I want. He knows, our needs. He even takes care of those without our asking.

I am not saying all this has been easy, but Teresea trusting Christ this has made it easier on her and also on us. Wow, what a trial, but what a blessing it has become. Not, just in what I know is going to be her healing. But, that it has grown her leep and bounds and made her look at her purpose on life as different.

God works all things for the good even when they do not come out our way.  I did not want for her to have this. But, God knows better then I do.

In His Love,
Marlene

That is good news Marlene.

I too have been given to look at my trials and tribulations not as wrath that is going to destroy me, but as blessings of God who has appointed each trial to overcome and every tribulation to walk through with His Spirit. We are not appointed to wrath, which is so comforting! So when I look at any difficulty that a true believer is experiencing, I see it as....wow....that is a big blessing that God has designed you to overcome!

I am ever aware, that the overcoming is not without tears, pain and deep changes God is working is us. :)

It is His work in Teresa, you and all of us sharing our burdens, joys and sufferings as He unites us in His Spirit.

Hello, Tomorrow Teresea has her pet scan to see how the tumors from cancer are doing. She has been through many twist and turns since last July.

I can already tell you that she knows God is with her through all of this. You all know how she takes care of her Mother.

Well, chemo had been giving her some side effects as she is getting closer to being done with them.

She had an extension on her disability at work since she had to be off 5 weeks from the spleen surgery. She has had many up and downs.

The last couple weeks have been rough on her. She did not get to work much a couple of weeks ago. As, a fact one of those week she could not work at all.

Her disability had run out. For the most part she has worked through all of this. She is back to work this week and feeling better.

Today, she called me and informed me that the Hospital decided to pay her even when she cannot work. They had canceled all her medical Bills her insurance did not pay. But, this was way more then she had even thought would happen. God is really working good out of this terrible situation.

He is growing her leaps and bounds. Not to mention it is really making my Sister see God in action. It has taken stress off of all of us.

They are even going to pay her for the time she had off before.

I do none of this to show us glory. But, to show any who may be going through things how amazing the work of God is.

I do have to tell you she is such a delight and never complains. For some who do not know how she came to be in our life. My Sister was raped. She almost lost her while carrying her. God had a  plan too bless us with her. Even, what seems to bad can bring good.

I know, that God has been using me to show my Sister, Teresea and others in my family his truths. The amazing things is Teresea never had a problem with it. My Mother never believed in Hell. My Husband is happy with it also.

I know, all the pain of those who family reject them. My Brother rejects me. My Husbands family think I am lost. But, they don't even know what I believe.

All, I can say is we are lights to the whole world.  We wait patiently for the Lord in all things. I know, that our trials are for a good purpose.

I thank you all who have prayed and all who have followed with us through our journey of this trial.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello,  Well, yesterday was an amazing day. Teresea got the resulst of her pet scan she had on Friday. She was fairly antsy. They usually, call her right away. But, being it was a holiday weekend for some I guess they decided to wait.

When she got to work on Monday, she told me she waited for quite a while and could just not wait any longer. They made her have a MRI on her brain cause pet scans do not do the brain. They just like to keep there eye on this even though her cancer was not there.

He news was fantastic. Now take you the Doctor never gave us much hope because of her age. Well,  the cancer cells in the colon are gong. There is no longer a tumor on the pancreas and no cells. She just has a little up take in the liver. Considering that the liver had tumors in the right and left lobe. Now just a very small spot in the left lobe. They believe the remaining chemo will take care of this.

She has the most amazing day.

You, all know how concerned I was for her and my Sister to just have enough money to survive. Well, God has met there needs. He helped me get my Car after my disablity went through. We used it many times to go out of town for her care. A couple of times the last few months when she could not work Mom and I would split giving her some money to complete her check. I have some tremendous bills from an illness. But, God enabled us to help her and it was a choice my Husband, Mom and I wanted.

Yesterday, some one showed up at her work and asked to see her outside. It was an older Doctor she did not even know. He told her people had told him how hard of a time she has been through. He handed her an envelope and told her to open it. It was a check for a $1,000 dollars. He told her a Doctor who had been at the Hospital, He passed away a while back. Left, money for anyone who was in need of help in time of a crisis. He told her usually people come to us for help. We do not go to them. But, he just felt that he should come to her because she has been through amazing trials.

I know, God has held her up through all this and us too. I was prepared to given my last dime of a very small savings and I do mean small. So, was my Mother. But, God takes care of every need. God has used my niece as a light on her job. I have to tell you her faith in him has really grown.

I have to be truthful and say not sure I would have been so trusting.

Well, just hope you all are not tired of me posting about this.

If, you would keep me in prayer. My Husband had to take me to ER. I have a very severe kidney infection.  This almost took my life a few years bacK.
I have not been on for days. I have been in so much pain from the infection. I am going to have to spend some more time down. I still am caring some fever. But, it is better then the 105 I did have.

The medications are begining to work thank God for that.  I just take it one day at a time.  I do know no matter what God is with me. If, I have to take a bath in the fire so be it. Least, now we know what that fire is. I have to tell you seems like I have been bathing in it already.

Keep the Faith you who are in trials. I just hope this will give you strength in your time of need.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hi All, I ask that you all keep Teresea. They admited her to the hospital and have to run test. She fail at home with my Sister. She has been having pain in rib and breast bone. She had this before the fall. She is vomiting up bile.

My Sister has a very bad heart and this is hard on her for sure. Just , keep them in prayer.

Her cancer is gone. I sure hope this does not take her life. She is very weak and has been ill for about a week. I think this chemo was to much for her.

Marlene

Hi, They have decided to keep her. She has not ate for over a week. She had chemo last week. It has been pretty hard on her. She is done. They are doing some cultures on what she vomited up. They believe she is have severe acid reflux from the last chemo. They will keep her for a few days and make sure she gets nutrition and built back up. She never complains.

This has been very hard on my Sister. She was glad they are keeping her.

I know, this is all part of Gods plan in all of our lives. I am so looking forward to when Teresea is well enough to come in and get to read the articles in here and get to know all you beautiful loving people.

In His Love,
Marlene

Marlene, if she indeed has acid reflux she needs enzymes which will take care of that. Not the drugs they prescribe for it. The enzymes will not only take care of the problem but they are good for you and needed in your body anyway. Natural and NO SIDE EFFECTS!
pm me if you want to know more about this.
The chemo takes a toll on the body in so many ways.  :(   I am so thankful she is doing so well otherwise.

Hello All! Teresea, has been out of the hospital. She had a mild infection that they wanted to get control of right away so she was in there a little over a week. She fail at home and broke her glasses when she was ill. Kind of cut her face and brusied it cause of the glasses.

She was so weak from the last chemo so they kept her there and she got home about a week ago. She is having physical therapy to help build up her strength in her legs. Her feet still have some fluid from all the fluids they gave her while in the hospital. She is eating again and this is helping so much. I got to spend time with her on Sunday and had dinner with them and My Mother and cooked it for them and my Husband and I did some things for them around the house.

She is able to walk with a rolling walker and starting to go fast now. She is not sleeping as much now. She is joking and having so much fun with her.
The chemo is done. Now, I pray that she can get back to health and work and moving forward with her life. She is to discuss a new therapy they have to block where the cancer once was so that it will not return.  I am sure there is things she needs to know about that.

Her worse problem seems to be when she sits on low places it is hard to get up. She is more stable now. They will be giving her 30 physical therapy and believe this will help her regain her strength along with eating healthy foods. The gave her something to increase her appetite.

I have to tell you that there has been so many good things come along with this trial on her and all of us. When, she broke her glasses her Sister took them to be fixed and they did not carry her frames to hold the lenses. She never takes her glasses off. I have even seen her fall to sleep in them. LOL
But, her Sister did not know what to do. They told her a jeweler could soder them for her. The Jeweler asked her how that happened and her Sister who was so upset told him what happend. It was going to cost $50 dollars to fix them and Teresea was due to get new lenses. He told my niece he did not want a dime for it and hoped that her Sister continued to get well.

This trial has taken so many twist and turn for Teresea. Never, not  once have I heard her say poor me. Her strength and trust in God has helped me.

Again, I want to thank all you who pray and follow her journey.  I love her so much.

There are many twist and turns in our trials. God has certainly brought something good from this. He never leaves anyone of us. He is with us all the way.
Teresea, told me it is all up to God whatever he wills.  If, he wants me it is his will. If , he says it is not time, it is his will. But, I know he is with me.

I hope that this journey has some how helped you all during your trials or trials that come your way. They come in many shape and forms. But, they humble us and good comes from this.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hello, I just wanted to give you a recent update on Teresea. She had another pet scan. There is just a very small spot of cancer on the left lobe of the liver. The cancer has not returned to the other places. We took her to a Surgeon in Columbus, Ohio and he is going to remove the spot off the liver and he said she will be cancer free. She will still have to have the therapy to cut off the blood supply where the cancer once was. But, it is not more chemo.

They believe she is a miracle, because they did not see much hope for her in the begining.

She is eating well and looking so much better. She is so much more like herself and gives thanks for all your prayers and concerns for her.

I have shared a few of Ray's teachings, with her.

Her work wants her to take all the time she needs to be really on her feet. She misses her work and all her wonderful friends there.

God has been with us all every step of the way. I know, that whatever God determines in this or any matter in our life he knows what is best.

She will be having the liver surgery July 1. This is her third surgery since last July.  He said, the spot is in a easy place to remove it. He said,"If , all goes well she will have a lapscopic surgery and he does not for see a problem with that type of surgery being done. If, she has it done that way he will keep her two days. The main reason being the liver surgery is a bloody organ and she could bleed and they want to keep her there.

Thanks so much for all the prayers and well wishes and just supporting me and my family during this trial. God has held us all up.

In His Love,
Marlene

Hi All, Teresea had her surgery today. The were able to do the laperscopic instead of having to do the big cut on her Liver.
He said," She has a incision which is very small and that all the cancer in the liver was removed. It was a smal spot on the left lobe of the liver.

It will be a year ago last July 20th that this journey began.

We took her over this morning. Just, got in. If, she continues to have no problems from surgery she should be home with us again on Sat.

God is so with us through our trials. He is with us in the good times and the bad. All,our trials make us better. At the time we may not see it but it is true.

The only thing they want to do is giver her a therapy that will block the cancer that was once there from coming back.

Teresea is upbeat and was joking with the nurses before surgery.  She amazes me so much.

I thank God every day for meeting all of you and the love you show.

In His Love,
Marlene

This is an update on Teresea. She got good news today. Her CEA is a 1.8 which is more then perfect. The functioning of Liver is perfect considering she had a liver surgery a couple of weeks or so ago. Right, now they say she is cancer free. She will have to have a MRI and another pet scan before they start therapy to block where the cancer once was. I belive this is going to be done in Aug.

This has been long battle but has made us all very happy. She has been through many ups and downs and still puts a smile on her face.

Thanks for all  who have followed this journey.

There is something to learn from every trial.  I know, I have learned to have peace and I am sure she has too.

In His Love,
Marlene
