When darkness like the night is lifted
The light floods in and brings the day
Like the truth that once was hidden
Now its glory on display
I see this new life without end
Through these different eyes you give
Eyes that once had known the darkness
Your Light has washed the lies away
For in Your presence there is freedom
In Your presence I am changed
The more I come to know You Lord
The more I know I'm not the same
You have called me out of darkness
To be in Your marvelous Light
My joy is in Your Holy presence
Where Your glory shines so bright
Though on this earth where darkness reigns
Your Word of Truth it sparks a flame
And when I reach my hand to touch You
You always set my heart ablaze
So take my hand and pull me closer
To Your heart and where You stand
I'm at Your feet on bended knees
Where Light of Truth embraces me
You have called me out of darkness
To be in Your marvelous Light........
