I've had vertigo for the last three weeks, now on top of that I have the flu.
I think the vertigo is caused by an abscessed tooth. I'm scheduled Wednesday for a root-canal. I'm on a heavy dose of penicillin.
I usually pass-out when I throw-up. Please pray that I never throw-up.

Eeeww..I just remembered I had vertigo once...it was bad the room was spinning so fast I was holding on the bed to keep from flying off!! ...I had a sinus infection...I told my neighbor about it and he said, "Well, Kathy, if I didn't know you better I'd say you were drunk!!" If that's how it feels to get drunk...uh..I think I'll just refrain!!
Now you get better quick, buddy! :) I'll be praying for your root canal...sorry you have to go through that, too!

Keeping you in prayer Dennis. Vertigo is terrible. It's like you were drinking and the room is spinning when you haven't had a drop to drink.

dennis i am sorry for your suffering with vertigo. i have had it in the past and it is not pleasant. i also hope any nausea passes without event. it is an honor to pray for you dennis. :)

This flu makes you head for the bathroom over and over. Once staggering out of the bathroom I tried to get back in bed but my legs said nope, not going to happen, and I dropped like a rock to the floor. I laid on the floor for a long time before I regained enough strength to get up.

Sorry, I didn't reply earlier, just saw this Thread regarding Vertigo & Flu Symptoms this Morning. I can empathize with you regarding vomiting, don't like to experience that and don't like going to Dentists. Hope you feel better and get your tooth problem corrected. I pray everything turns out well for you, sorry you have to experience this.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes to Dennis. He's been suffering for several weeks now and it's wearing him out. I'm trying to assist him, but he's not an easy patient. :)

How wonderful, your simple humble admission of honesty Rene. Thank you.
It is so difficult for women to have to hold up the weight of emotional support in the distress of illness that effects our loved ones. I know it is not easy but it is strengthening of our abilities to suffer and endure.
We, the often silent and over looked, seemingly unrewarded souls, have to bear our burdens too. We are the weaker vessels strengthened by the love of our husbands and the Spirit of Christ working all things to good.
We are with you Rene as I am sure every sister in Christ and Daughter of God understands the bond that unites us to suffer the fidelity to support our men elected to suffer for Christ.
I can feel your trial in my heart as I believe our brothers here and our sisters share with you here. Be comforted Rene and keep on keeping on.

It's part of the Male Profile, we don't like Doctors, Dentists, Nurses(At least going to see them), If you have good Medical Coverage, they really Love to see you, otherwise, only when they have to, ;)

i was wondering how your root canal went. i hope that you are now resting more comfortably (with possibly the aid of some very good pain relievers ;). ) let us know how you are doing.

If it helps at all, my root canal went fine. I was only uncomfortable for a day and took Ibuprophin and it was tender for a week. I am not dreading going back for the other one except for having to pay for it. ::)

You don't know me, but I am called Billy Bob White. At the appropriate time, I will introduce myself when the Lord declares and give my testimony. In the meantime, don't worry about something as simple as a root canal. When the needle full of novocaine is injected into your jaw, it hurts like the dickens but it doesn't have to. To offset this pain, simply take your thumb and forefinger and squeeze your ear lobe hard. If you still feel pain, squeeze harder. Your mind will not let you think about the needle. The ear is more sensitive than the jaw. All I'm asking is that you try it and let me know how it works for you. It has worked for my people for a long time.

i am sorry that you are still sick. the best thing i can add to your most likely, large arsenal of remedies, is my prayer for you. so i will take my request to our Great Healer/Pharmacist.
