i just tonight read the writing by our "grapehound" entitled "paradox of the foothills", which is in the inspirational writings, poems,...section. if any of you haven't read it yet, i urge you to. it is truly inspirational, the shadow/parable which the writing evokes.
thanks grape, i enjoyed it. 8)

Your song in your introduction to the BT Forum Grape, and the words to this poem, also moved me to tears....I just didn't have the words....
I am glad to see claudia did! :)

Thank you my lovely Sisters Deborah and Janine
I appreciate your comments.
Our Father gave me this some years ago but I've never really had a reason to share it until now,
but He saw the end from the beginning! What can we ever say of Him that remotely approaches His lovingkindness and patience?
Muchest Luv in Jesus, bless His Holy name.

SO TIMELY!!
My son Tim is leaving today (Tuesday) to hike the rim around MtEverest in Nepal. It is a 20 day hike- he will be gone a month(prayers appreciated).
I just printed to give to him.
I thought it beautiful and easy to understand.
FYI...for the newer family-Tim found Ray's website first when he was in Uganda.;and we haven't been the same since :D

Bleesings Gena,

Hi Janine. Tim was a Marine for 8 years so he has been all over the world. then he went to college and is going to grad school in DC in January. He just got back from Russia in August and now this!.....in the Marines he got the nickname "NatGeo" bcz at every post he would explore and be a tourist.
His last post was in Uganda and he went to an Assembly of God church and was horrified at the $$$$$ amidst all the poverty (you know the name it claim it gospel, or the tithe to the church and you will be blessed). so he was just roaming around the internet, punching in different words and --the word "hell" came up w/ L Ray Smith. He started reading and got hooked. E mailed me and I started reading Lazarus and got hooked!
We both had been seeking something more than what we had...we knew things just didn't add up in church...so the Lord was leading for sure. My husband got on board too, but our other 2 children (adults now) love their church and think we have gone off the deep end. :D
Gee, I know you didn't ask for all this...just got into typing I guess. Most of the "oldies" know this, but there are a lot of new posters.(plus I rarely get to brag on my kids-LOL)

::) awww...that is sweet Claudia. Tim's 30th birthday is today and he is in the air- en route- 39 hours total time. He will be back 11 Nov! He did go to the conference in Marshall but not any others.
I am glad Claudia that we got to meet...everytime I see your posts-it is comforting- like an old friend!!! (not OLD in years!! ha)
