Hello everyone!

 My name is Matt, and this is my second time being a member here in the forum.  I was here originally a few years ago, while stationed in Japan (USMC Active Duty).  When I moved to CA, the network at my office blocked this site, and with a full schedule and 3 kids, I found it more and more difficult to keep up (lunch time was my only time to log in).  Since moving to CA in 2008, so much has changed. I have sent 2 kids off to college, and I have 1 High Schooler left. I am going back to college, been promoted, bought a house, and I am really enjoying life!

 I have been doing my best to live a life apart from "church" and applying all I have learned here to my life(I am looking forward to seeing how much that really is).

Well I'm so glad to welcome you back  :)
You really have been busy, that sounds like a great family life you have. Getting those kids through college is a big thing, I have two in college also. I hope you will find time to come in here from time to time. I have found that every believer has a little different perspective and in discussions that is very helpful.

Hello Matthew,

I remember You ! Wondered where You were, remembering that Your in the Military, moving quite often. I remember a Post you shared years ago at Off Topic regarding "Favorite Songs," and you mentioned that We had similar tastes in music. Well, anyway, glad you re-joined, appreciated your presence at the Forum in the past.

I also remember you and was wondering what had happened once you got back to the States.  I also remember the lovely pictures you posted of your family. Happy to hear you all are doing well.

Great to hear from you once again.
Please let us know more about your spiritual experience in the U.S. Marines.

I suppose that you are a Colonel by now, but whatever it is congratulations

HellooooooMatt...I remember you too and always enjoyed your posts.  As my son was a Marine and was in Okinawa for a year I kept you in my thoughts and prayers!!
