When everybody on earth was dead and
waiting to enter Paradise , God appeared and said, "I want the men to
make two lines. One line for the men who were true heads of
their household, and the other line for the men who were
dominated by their women. I want all the women to report to
St. Peter ."
Soon, the women were gone, and there were two lines of men.
The line of the men who were dominated by their wives was
100 miles long, and in the line of men who truly were heads
of their household, there was only one man.
God said to the long line, "You men should be ashamed of
yourselves, I created you to be the head of your household!
You have been disobedient and have not fulfilled your
purpose! Of all of you, only one obeyed. Learn from him."
God turned to the one man, "How did you manage to be the
only one in this line?"
The man replied, "My wife told me to stand here."

Well Craig, we all know men want approval and adoration and they don't have (a few maybe) near as many words that need spoken as we women. They all need to read The Taming of the Shrew every now and then.

Good morning Judy, ;D
Interesting suggestion for reading material. For me it was just too long to endure, but if anyone is interested here is a relatively short synopsis of the plot in five acts. Take note especially of the introduction, it was very comical.

Bob, tis somewhat true! A woman likes a man who is stronger than her and she will torment him until he takes the lead.(but if she becomes silent and quits the tormenting it is too late for these tactics, she has lost all hope.)
BUT, in today's world this would be all too violent. I doubt it would even be understood. There is much truth in primitive ways.
That said the man must also be kind and attentive. Now this is not my problem, so, I will leave it to the men to figure out how to walk such a taut tightrope.
Enjoyed reading it once again. Thanks, judy

Hi Craig and all,
I always tell my wife that I am the Head of the house, but she is the Neck.
If the head doesn't follow what the neck wants, it will only result in a sore neck ;)
