Title: Stradivarius violin
Post by: bob on June 22, 2013, 02:10:44 PM

I thought you might enjoy this.

Paul Anka wrote this for Sinatra , and only a violin can make this sound  as beautiful as it truly is.

Rieu is a renowned Dutch violinist, conductor and composer, and his orchestra did a tribute to Frank Sinatra with My Way on his Stradivarius violin at Radio City Music Hall – New York .

Don't miss this............. Rieu doesn't often play his violin thru whole pieces, this he did!!

I subscribed to Andre Rieu on YouTube a long time ago. I listen to his videos at least three times a week. Usually in bed at night trying to unwind.

And I completely agree with what he says about Frank Sinatra.

I've been somewhat obsessed with North Korea the last few years.

Thank you Dennis,
It is pleasing to see a practical example of what can be achieved with loving cooperation.
Some day this type of cultural exchange between people will become normal even among strangers. First the natural and then the spiritual with our Lord Jesus, present with us and leading all peoples.
May that day come soon.

God has given us many wonderful gifts but few as beautiful and touching to the soul as music.  This is exquisite. So glad you shared it.

Sailing and building yacht's and shearing sheep are 2 things we do well in this country. But I wouldn't have a clue how to do either.  ;D

Hard to watch more than a minute though

you can not hold a rattlesnake in your hands without getting bite.  N Korean leadership is that snake.  what the authorities are doing to their own is a crime God help them and the people.
