or "scorcher"as it's known here.last week or so the temperature has been 44c- roads are melting, power grids failing, people's health failing, and it's just to hot for anyone to do much of anything.

You must be in Australia. I'm in New Zealand and been watching the tennis. Must be hard playing in those temperatures

I heard Melbourne will only be 22 degrees Celsius tomorrow so cooler times coming  ;D

Yeah I heard that while we were having our record cold here in America, Australia was getting scorched. Must be tough on those tennis players, but I doubt it's worse than practicing American football in August twice a day. Doing that for 4 years definitely toughened me up.
