Title: Meaning of Nazarite (and I not mean Nazarene)

Did Ray ever confirm the meaning of 'Nazarite' (and I do not mean Nazarene).

Does it mean 'one separated' (i.e. like His Called Out Chosen Elect)?

   Nazarite vows, if by the Lord were for life in the cases of Sampson, Samual, and John the Baptist. Others could take a Nazarite Vow, usually 60,90 or 120 days to dedicate themselves to the lord. It mentions that Sampsons Mother took a vow not to drink alcohol before her conception and up till delivery. Sampsons strength was not in his long hair, but was becausr the Spirit of the lord was on him, so strong was he he tore a lion in two with his bare hands. Samual ministered in the Holy Place before the veil, and because of his faithfulness was permitted to enter thru the veil into the very presence of God. John had a special job to do and did it admirably. He got involved in politics,and it cost him his head.
