Title: Strong's Exhaustive Concordance.

I'm hoping someone can clarify something for me. I came across this from G165 from Strong's Concordance:  "aion from the same as G104; properly an age; by extension perpetuity (also past); by implication the world, specifically (Jewish) a messianic period (present or future): age, course, eternal, (for) ever (for) evermore, never, ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Compare G5550."
Now, I can go along with "age" but how can "aion" be an "age" and "eternal?" Has The original Strong's been edited and changed? Where can I get an unedited Strong's Concordance?

As far as I know, the "original" Strong's Concordance has not been changed.  What you've quoted is more properly Strong's Bible dictionary than the Concordance.  Dr. Strong took his definitions from his own theological/doctrinal beliefs about how the word is used in Scripture.  It's a bible-study tool, not the final authority.  I'd be pretty much lost without the Concordance, but I don't use his dictionary for most words.
