Hi Everyone:
I have a prayer request. I have been battling a skin infection on my right thigh for a little over 4 months, and have been trying different products to treat this area, with not so much success, including an antibiotic, manuka honey, and others. May the Lord guide me in this situation. Thank you. I will keep you informed regarding any potential progress with this situation. Thanks.

I am trying two new products, both of which have antibacterial properties. I felt the presence of God in a wonderful way yesterday; all your prayers were very comforting. I haven't tried coconut oil, George, but will look into it.
If anything newsworthy happens, I will keep you posted.

Tea Tree Oil is a great product, I have seen skin tags disappear when applied daily.

maybe try a little witch hazel.
i've used it for many different skin issues for myself, and family members.
it may help or it may not.

Thank you Joel, Doug, and Claudia for your suggestions. I will look into those products. I am currently using several other products. The area is stable, with not too much improvement thus far. I have greatly appreciated everyone's prayers. I have felt the difference. Thanks George for your replies. I will keep you all informed in the days ahead regarding any changes.

Dean, I've just recently become aware of a kind of bandage. The brand name is Aquacel AG. They aren't cheap, but from accounts, they work quickly. They are kind of a high-tech bandage, from what I can gather, and not exactly a home-remedy. I'm going to be getting some for use on the skin ulcer I've had on my ankle for some time.

If you use an essential oil, don't forget to use it with a carrier oil like coconut oil.
Have you tired aloe vera also?

I am trying Palmarosa oil. I always do a test with carrier almond oil first, but the Palmarosa can be used alone. I haven't tried aloe vera yet. I have read that a freshly chopped garlic clove can be rubbed onto the skin as well. So many options!

Just seeing this post, today. Hope Dean is seeing improvement. God has provided us with many natural healing products. As for the bentonite clay, I did some research, and found it to be interesting. I have diatomaceous earth, which appears to be similar to the clay. It can be used both internally and externally-always use food grade only, though.

Did I read your last sentence correctly? Are you saying it is O.K. to eat dirt for healing? Really?
Food grade only? I have never seen dirt for sale at my local grocery store.
I have been asked to be nicer in my responses. So I will put away the JFK steel and keep my mouth shut. Do not want any dirt to get in.
