I find it more difficult reading the Old Testament than the New Testament; although Peter stated that some of Paul's Letters were 'hard to understand'.
Anyway, in my research, I came across this web site of the Old Testament Scriptures that provides multiple versions for each verse - and I often find 'Young's' wording gives me greater understanding:

I thought this might be a useful tool to use.
