I just showed this to my husband. And I am amazed all over again.
What do you think of her visions?? Do you think she really saw "heaven" ?
-
I just seen this video clip the other day. I guess it's going around. It's awesome how this young girl can paint! And she gives all glory to God for her talent! I have seen her on Oprah before.
Her quote:
"I want my art to draw people's attention to God, and I want my poetry to keep people attention to God" -Akiane
Here's her web page link: http://www.artakiane.com/home.htm
I don't know what to think about her visions of God and heaven. I guess I'm spectacle but I'm still blessed by her art.

Ya never know. I wonder if God does not give 'VISIONS' to certain people in order to help them to get through a tough time (ex. this little girls' parents were Athiests and she never heard them speak of God or Yeshua). John in REVELATION was given a 'vision (or a picture of 'heaven'), but John and we know that there is no physical place such as Heaven. I also wonder if these 'visions' are not just a PHYSICAL interpretation/revelation of something that the recipient could not comprehend in an actual spiritual picture sense? So, Gena, yes, I do think that this is an option. God is good and abviously HE tried very hard to show John a spiritual picture using physical images.
PS Gena, I love(agape? Phieo? Eros? Storge'?....NO:) I LIKE...your snowman. How is your weather up there in Michigan? Stay warm. It is supposed to snow here tonight...yay, sledding for Daniel (and Anne & David tomorrow perhaps!!!!) ;D

Susan,
Yeah sledding tomorrow Hopefully. That sounds fun and more fun to do than a lesson LOL.
Sincerely,
Anne C. McGuire

I wonder where lust of the eyes and the pride of life fit into a situation like this...

Situation like what, painting, writing poetry? ???

Mark, do you mean like how much her paintings go for?? I did think of that. Maybe some exploitation?? I don't know. I hope not. She is def. a genius or at least a child prodigy. I hate being suspicious and don't want to call evil good or good evil. She is giving the glory to Jesus.
Susan it is snowing buckets here. I get tomorrow off too. YES!!!!
