I'm in Awe Diana! That is so beautiful and regal looking.
I never knew there was an albino peacock.
Did you see it at the zoo or something?
Thanks for sharing the picture with us.

Hi Diana,
Those are very rare. We have one in our little zoo here where I live. When they spread their feathers like that, what are they doing?
Sure is pretty.

OMG They are beautiful. At first I almost thought it to be computer generated. Shouldn't they have pink eyes??
Paula, regal is right. Elegant & lacey too. :)

To all,
Well, that is my new desktop for awhile.
Thanks for sharing.

Dwight, my grandmother had peacock's around the ranch, they make very good watch "dogs" along with the geese. Those boogers can be mean, or at least they were to me. But, I was a typical boy, I guess, because I tormented them every chance I could.
I was told there are 2 specific reasons for the spreading of thier wings; protection, makes them look huge to predators. And, mating, impressing the mate.
I don't know if that is fact or fiction.

Hey Patrick,
That makes sense to me. Thanks
